Convenient, comfortable, and good value for the area
By PW12945
We've stayed at the KoP Holiday Inn Express several times now. It's comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. It would be great if there were a pool, but eh. I've found in a [More] few of the rooms over time that the bathrooms either need some maintenance, or maybe they just take the greatest amount of punishment - as I've noticed brackets loose on shower bars, some times shower water either leaks or otherwise escapes around the curtains etc. This time 'round, we were on the back side of the building, and despite our sliding door being closed, we got to hear (clearly) a metal plate on the driveway to the Fitness Center across the street clank twice for every car that drove in. On a Saturday morning, that was one busy place starting early! The only other point was that we stayed on an unusually cool weekend, and there was no extra layer to put on the bed. Required the heater to be turned up, that I would rather not have done. [Less]

Your location suited our needs perfectly. The commute to our destination was just fine and the closeness to the Mall suited our needs. [Less]

During c/o the GSR was on the phone. It would have been nice if the GSR, place call on hold to complete my c/o. Wasn't asked about my stay. [Less]
Beautifully renovated rooms and bath
The hotel was very nice. Check in staff was very professional and friendly. The room was beautiful and the bath was very spa like. As we were getting ready for bed we discovered that the thermostat [More] on the wall wasn't working and that you manually had to set the unit by the window. Not usually a problem as most hotels have the same units. However once we got the heat to work it wouldn't shut off. So periodically during the night we had to get up to turn the unit on and off. Also, while getting ready for bed we discovered that it took about 30 mins for the sink in the bathroom to drain. We had checked in so late that we didn't want to have to move or deal with maintainence people so we waited to notify and notified the desk when we checked out. The bed was very comfortable and it was a nice perk to have a Keurik coffee maker with a variety of coffee. [Less]

Comfortable hotel

Clean and comfortable. Will stay here again the next time we are in town. Negatives include traffic and we were given a handicap room which had no place to put toiletries. Made do with ironing board. [More] No room to sit down for breakfast on the weekend when hotel was sold out. [Less]
Exceeded expectations

We stayed here on our way back from Florida. Came in tired after a long drive in the rain. Was graciously greeted and welcomed. Everything from arriving to departing was top notch. Breakfast was [More] excellent and service was tremendous. Keep up the good work and please thank your staff for a great stay! [Less]
