Nice place

Just a quick overnight stay. Is a nice clean property and the people were pleasant. [Less]
Lighting in room
I had a lot of work to do, and the rooms were poorly lit., It was very hard to read at the room desk. Your business center is not private at all..........I had to prepare payroll. Everyone in the [More] lobby could see my screen . Other than these concerns, all was good. [Less]

Front desk staff was welcoming and made me laugh after a long drive. Rooms were clean and the water was hot for a great relaxing shower [Less]
Wonderful experience during my very long-term stay!
By Alex J.S.
I had to stay here for almost 5 months and almost miss being there! The staff is amazingly friendly and do their best to make you feel right at home, not just a guest. They made efforts to know my [More] name/room number without asking and predict my needs. The room servicing was always spot-on! They cleaned well (both in my room and the common areas) and I felt perfectly fine with leaving things "out" because they would not disturb anything that belong to me, other than to clean under/around it. They even folded the blankets I brought from home to use on the couch/recliner! I always felt safe and comfortable during my stay and I will stay here any time I am in Austin again, no matter how long the visit. The complimentary laundry was a benefit all it's own and I utilized quite often. It was good-quality machines and I rarely found myself without a washer or dryer available. And the beds! Oh man are they comfortable. Especially the sheets and pillows. I never felt like I was sleeping in a hotel bed. I could seriously go on forever about how much I enjoyed my stay, but I will stop. Just know that this is a prime spot to stay if you appreciate comfort and warm welcomes! [Less]
Good Price for Extended Stay Suite
By AnonTraveler1013
Clean comfortable room. Excellent Internet. Loved the Kitchen and work spaces. The only thing missing was a real continental breakfast or onsite restaurant. [Less]
Candlewood Suites Austin South
By JonathanA1957
Hotel rooms in Austin are a bit pricey and Candlewood was about the least expensive I found. The room was clean and the two rooms were spacious. Decor was very nondescript, though the room was in [More] good condition, which is surprising since housekeeping services are offered only once a week or when the room is vacated. Beds were comfortable and my daughter didn't complain about the fold out couch The location is between both COTA and downtown Austin, but not near anything in particular. This is a very functional hotel and compared to other local hotels it appears to offer good value. Although there is a small range, microwave and fridge, there are no pots and pans. Still it would be a good location for an extended stay. Just don't expect the lap of luxury or an on site restaurant. [Less]

Very comfortable hotel - convenient to 35E and businesses
By emilysometimes
I stayed at this hotel while I was training at Apple. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy. The breakfast is very good and the manager's reception is a very nice perk. [Less]
Great Austin, TX weekend stay
By JB_holidayinn
I liked the area, the newness of the hotel, the free breakfast, clean and modern room (with high ceilings!), and friendly staff. I thought there could be a little more parking. It wasn't bad, but [More] there were lots of businesses around where my car was at night. However, the area where the hotel was did feel very safe. Aside from an overhead light being burnt out the room, the stay was great! I will definitely stay here in the future if I am in the Austin area. [Less]
