Featured Irving Hotels

Make yourself at home in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Irving, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. In no time you'll be investigating the assassination of John F. Kennedy, cheering local cowboys in a rodeo and kicking up your heels at Gilley's Dallas.

Our Irving hotels are a short drive from the Dallas Arts District. Life-like Rodin nudes, textured Giacometti busts and abstract Miró totems fill the Nasher Sculpture Museum. Across the street, the Dallas Museum of Art displays statues of Maya and Aztec gods and colorful impressionistic paintings by European masters van Gogh and Cézanne. In the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, follow a minute-by-minute account of November 22, 1963, when Lee Harvey Oswald shot President John F. Kennedy. The southeast-facing window where Oswald crouched with his rifle is preserved behind glass.

The original Neiman Marcus store still sells luxury goods on Main Street, but the city's serious shoppers prefer Uptown's McKinney Avenue, lined with antiques shops, art galleries and inviting cafes. Local Western wear stores can outfit guests of our Irving hotels in fine silver belt buckles and hand-stitched cowboy boots fit for the Gilley's Dallas dance floor. Fill up on thick sirloin steak or a barbecue brisket dinner before sashaying over to Gilley's, where you'll two-step to twangy country guitar. Check the calendar beforehand-big-ticket rock shows also play to the Gilley's crowd.

Book our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Irving to take in major Dallas sporting events. The Dallas Cowboys play at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, a short drive from our Irving hotels. Home game tickets are hard to come by, but you can tour the stadium to toss a few passes on the field. Arlington is also home to the Texas Rangers baseball team. Or, holler for your favorite cowboy at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo.

Everything we needed for a great weekend
By most taken
Hotel staff were great, from the front desk to the room staff to the kitchen staff. TV in the breakfast dining area was large and had the game on, lots of seating. The heated pool was really great, [More] very warm and four waterfalls at each corner that granddaughter had fun with. One thing I wondered about, I understood a card in our suite to say that housekeeping was there M-F, but we needed to contact them by 5 on Friday if we wanted weekend service. It turned out that they came without me contacting them but I didn't read this card until 9 on Friday....might want to note that if you stay here and find out for sure before Fri at 5 The suite had all we needed to cook meals, from utensils, pots and pans, large fridge, and dishes. We did shop and bought frozen foods to microwave and it was really nice having real dishes and serveware, to include large plastic bowls to mix salad in. [Less]
Normally a great hotel
By Gina97
I have stayed at this hotel a few times and have for the most part loved it. Not sure if this time about the cleanliness of the hotel. It was lacking possibly due to high volume of workers due to [More] tornado clean up. The lobby and elevator needed to be mopped. I arrived around 6P, so there may have been traffic in and out. The room itself had items left in the restroom and on the floor from the person before me. It wasn't that big of deal since it wasn't much to clean up. The bed and room were good and comfortable. There were many lights in the room that weren't working or just needed to be changed out. There was one person registering everyone and waited awhile while 4 other people got checked in. This is not normal for this hotel. I would still recommend this hotel and plan on staying again in the future, just hope that the hotel is better maintained in the future. thanks [Less]
Beautiful view and great nights rest
By cwalters
This 1 night stay was a spur of the moment thing. We could not have asked for a better hotel. Water view on back side and our room was absolutely perfect. Breakfast was a great selection of cold and [More] hot foods. I will definitely stay here again. [Less]

Great place to stay
By MDudley
I stayed at the Staybridge Suites while attending a Seminar in Addison. Not ever staying before I was not sure what to expect, but was surprised to how nice and clean it was. Friendly staff and the [More] room was very big and clean. I could have stayed in this place for week with no problem. Location is great for in and out... any direction you need to go. Food at snack-bar was good and not a lot of noise. Definitely stay here again if in this area. [Less]
Great Hotel!
By LeilaStar
This is a great hotel. We have stayed at this hotel each year for the last 3 years to attend the FCS Football National Championship (Go Bison!). This hotel is in a great area of town with lots of [More] restaurants/shopping nearby. The staff is always friendly and willing to help answer any questions. The rooms are typical of any Staybridge Suites. The room is always quiet and you cannot hear people in the next room or in the hallway. The breakfast is a normal Staybridge Suites breakfast, but the waffle iron makes Texas shaped waffles! If you are thinking about staying here, just book the room. You will be glad you did. [Less]
