Featured Irving Hotels

Make yourself at home in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Irving, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. In no time you'll be investigating the assassination of John F. Kennedy, cheering local cowboys in a rodeo and kicking up your heels at Gilley's Dallas.

Our Irving hotels are a short drive from the Dallas Arts District. Life-like Rodin nudes, textured Giacometti busts and abstract Miró totems fill the Nasher Sculpture Museum. Across the street, the Dallas Museum of Art displays statues of Maya and Aztec gods and colorful impressionistic paintings by European masters van Gogh and Cézanne. In the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, follow a minute-by-minute account of November 22, 1963, when Lee Harvey Oswald shot President John F. Kennedy. The southeast-facing window where Oswald crouched with his rifle is preserved behind glass.

The original Neiman Marcus store still sells luxury goods on Main Street, but the city's serious shoppers prefer Uptown's McKinney Avenue, lined with antiques shops, art galleries and inviting cafes. Local Western wear stores can outfit guests of our Irving hotels in fine silver belt buckles and hand-stitched cowboy boots fit for the Gilley's Dallas dance floor. Fill up on thick sirloin steak or a barbecue brisket dinner before sashaying over to Gilley's, where you'll two-step to twangy country guitar. Check the calendar beforehand-big-ticket rock shows also play to the Gilley's crowd.

Book our Holiday Inn Express hotels in Irving to take in major Dallas sporting events. The Dallas Cowboys play at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, a short drive from our Irving hotels. Home game tickets are hard to come by, but you can tour the stadium to toss a few passes on the field. Arlington is also home to the Texas Rangers baseball team. Or, holler for your favorite cowboy at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo.

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The stay was hassle free and very affordable. There were only a few issues being the fact we were there for an extended stay. We had to follow up weekly to [More] ensure our room got cleaned. As far as the staff, Ross at the front desk seemed to be the only one to know what he was doing. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this to another. [Less]
loyal staff

I've been staying at this hotel now for the last 5-6 years and the staff have been here that long. When you see that there's not much turn over in personnel you hope that the corporation is treating [More] them right. The staff do a good job at this facility. [Less]

My 2 daughters give the Mesquite location 2 thumbs up and would love to live there, with Ms. Nora protecting them downstairs at the desk. [Less]
Very pleasant stay
By BillyBoy53
We enjoyed our two nights at Holiday Inn Express in Mesquite, Texas. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was GREAT. I really appreciated the attendant in the breakfast area who payed attention [More] and kept all the items fully stocked. The biggest downer for us is that the room was so poorly lit. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm these days. Still, overall. a pleasant visit. Maybe we will have to start bringing our own light bulbs! [Less]
Comfortable bed and pillows.

This hotel location is perfect for travelling into the city and locations for shopping and dining. I was able to go almost anywhere with in minutes. The distance from the parking lot to the room was [More] wonderful. [Less]

Comfy room, good value
By DrLAF
My room was light and airy, making for a nice welcome after a long day of travel. I appreciated that there was an overstuffed chair to sit in while reading; too many places offer just the desk or [More] bed. I thought the cost was reasonable, and the location convenient for my needs. [Less]
