This is an easy hotel to find from the station and close to the airport. Prices are good and rooms are perfect.
would like to see a safe in the rooms.

The staff is incredibly anxious to assist and make your stay enjoyable. The location is convenient to public transportation. The rooms are adequately sized & clean. Breakfast is typical of European breakfast. I enjoyed my stay very much.
As a traveler from the U.S., I'd prefer to have my own iron and ironing board in the room and wash clothes, real soap and shampoo in the shower instead of body wash.

I just stayed here for 2 weeks for business purposes.
This is a very bare-bones hotel. The price is decent and the location is good - right near a train station that is a short 20 minute ride into Centraal Station in the heart of the city. But there are NO amenities. No shampoo, no body lotion, not even a washcloth. The only thing provided other than a few (thin) towels are 2 liquid soap dispensers - one at the sink and one in the shower - which contain something you are supposed to use on your body, face, hands and hair. No thanks.
The rooms are very small, especially if you are traveling with someone. Ask for a corner room, if possible. Those are a little larger. The bathrooms have good showers with handheld shower heads. They are very slippery though, so be very careful. The hair dryer is not very powerful and is on a very short cord and placed right over the toilet, so drying the back of your head is difficult. Also, the dryer has a button that you must keep pressed the whole time you are using it, which gets awkward.
The beds are fairly comfortable, if you like a firm mattress. You get 2 sets of pillows - one firm, one soft. They make a nice team. The TV offerings are very limited - only a few English language channels and not much selection there, but you aren't staying for the entertainment.
There is a decent work desk, but there is no lamp so it is dark in that corner.
There is a free breakfast provided daily, but the offerings are a bit strange for American tastes. No hot food. Cold cuts, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers. Yogurt, some cold cereal, milk, juices and coffee and tea. There is also some bread and other baked goods but they were, shall we say, very over done. Close to burnt, every day.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but it shares the building with a regular Holiday Inn, which does. For 19.50 euro you can get a nice hot breakfast buffet with eggs and all the trimmings. They also have decent lunch and dinner menus. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby.
I was not pleased with the daily room cleaning. Most days, all the staff did was make the bed and on a couple of occasions, not even that was done. Wastebaskets were not emptied, the bathroom sink was not cleaned and even the plastic cup I used was not replaced for over a week.
The staff is generally pleasant.
