This hotel is an excellent choice for anybody wishing to get into the centre of Amsterdam quickly. Sloterdijk station is only one minute's walk away, there are frequent trains and it only takes 5 minutes to get to Centraal.
The staff in the hotel were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room ticked most requirements with a good sized bathroom, efficient shower, TV, tea and coffee facilities and free Wi Fi. My only criticism of the room was that there were no drawers or wardrobes for clothes, which meant that I had to ' live out of my suitcase'. Whenever I stay anywhere for 4 days upwards, I like to completely unpack my bag. There was also no safe in the room, but it felt very secure and you even had to use your card key to get onto the corridors and operate the lift.
I enjoyed the breakfast. I have been in hotels with much more choice of food, but I found the breakfast adequate for my requirements.
Another bonus is that the hotel has secure parking,so it is an excellent choice for anyone who has arrived by car.

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Wings99 Nice quiet room near transportation hub.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I liked the location. Access to the tram encouraged us to visit other areas of the city rather than stick to the city centre. The breakfast was good and there were long breakfast hours and the food did not run out. The internet was good and the room was comfortable and clean.

As far as we were concerned the location is excellent, train, tram, bus and metro all on your doorstep.
The staff in the breakfast area were exemplary, I need gluten free and they made sure that I was looked after, sometimes without me asking.
As others have commented there are only two restaurants nearby, one directly in front and another next to the tram stop.
But there is multiple choice for takeaway, asian, greek, hamburgers etc in the railway station next door.
Plus to top it off there is a fantastic supermarket/ fresh food store also in the railway station next door.
The variety of salads and other foods there is amazing, they really cater for the traveler / single person , so having a meal wasnt a problem.
We found however that for restaurant food, central Amsterdam was the place to be.
All in all we would stay there again in a heartbeat also we would recomend it to friends and relatives.
Well done Sloterdijk.
