Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Needs uplift Rooms and hotel just looks a little tired and could do with modernising and an uplift in decor. TV was an old portable type that not seen for years. The bed was too soft and lumpy for me, obviously well worn. Having said all that, we had a good 2 night stay and it was at a reasonable rate, I would have been less impressed if had paid more than what we did. 24. September 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by One night stay. I found the Bradford Holiday Inn Express to be ideal for my requirement. My only small complaint is that when I booked the room on the IHG website the room was described as air conditioned, on arrival I found a room heater but no AC. Other than that the hotel was fine as with all other HI Express hotels I have used. Hotel staff were very helpful and efficient. 24. September 2014

Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Shabby, Incompetent - A Total Disaster. They cocked up our reservation completely. As in "What Reservation". They later confirmed this was "their problem" and no due to anything we had done. I STILL have not been given an adequate explanation for this. Saying "A System Problems" is just not good enough. We got a tatty room with broken sink and broken window locks. Room stuffy and smelly, not ventilation at all. Was moved to another room which was at least clean and ventilated. But that was setup with sleeping for four, which appeared to be irrevocable (you couldn't just fold the second bed up) - so we were impossibly cramped. I was told this was the only alternative. The next day some joker set the "do not disturb" on our room so our bed was not made and we had no clean, dry towels. That night something horrible happened with the Fire Alarm which ruined our night's sleep. The hotel staff did not seem to know what to do. When we checked out no explanation or apology was given. The next day we had an important business meeting - which we both attended as zombies, we were so tired we barely managed to drive home safely. But the breakfasts were mostly OK, even if the service was a bit erratic and slow. 11. September 2014

Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Housekeeping not good Booked room for one night, two adults one child, booking was amended by telephone on previous day,but Hotel had not received information, however given a suitable room BUT, telephone did not work, appeared to have been damaged, batteries in TV remote had been switched around and tea bags thrown against the wall, such actions cause annoyance. 30. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by No subtitles on TV We had a lovely weekend at Holiday Inn Express. But let down by not having subtitles on the TV. As I am Deaf I need this facility. Although the receptionist tried to help, sadly she was not able to do so. 25. August 2014
