have stayed at this hotel twice before, it is central to the area we were visiting, it looked like it had been decorated recently, all amenities were very good and the staff were excellent, bar prices were a little high but average for a hotel. Will be using this hotel again next year when we visit the NMA

I recently stayed for one night with a friend for a pamper weekend. On arrival we were not greeted for a good 10 minutes, which left us feeling like we were in a bit of a ghost town. When someone did arrive, we were given the wifi code, room key and car park exit code. I also paid for my paking fee there and then. After entering the hotel room and attempting to connect to the free wifi, the signal was so weak that it kept kicking me off. In the end I just used 3G on my mobile. Not really what I expected to have to do.
The good thing was that the beds were comfortable and the room was clean and tidy.
In the morning, I was really disappointed with the breakfast selection and the pastries were overcooked, the hot items were limited and there was no option for dairy free/soya milk.
I used the in-hotel computer to try and print off a voucher for the spa day I had booked, but due to hotel policy, I was unable to get onto the correct page as pop-ups were not allowed. I asked a member of staff for help, but they said they could not amend the settings. This was not ideal, as the page I wanted to get on (Groupon) needed to open a new page to open the item I needed to print. This then caused endless hassle when I arrived at my spa day and was a lot more stress than I had anticipated.
All in all, not a fantastic experience and I am not planning on going back or recommending this hotel to others.
