There was apparently or so we were told a limited menu available on sundays.
This meant we either had pizza from the hotel kitchen or have the staff send out for takeaway meals from local restaurants.
The dining area resembled a motorway service area though possibly it was not quite good enough for that.
All around us were people unwrapping meals of all descriptions . Not a great start to my holiday and to be truthful Holiday Inn should be equally disappointed.

Having made it back to the UK late at night I phoned the hotel directly from the direct phone in the airport for transport to the hotel. This arrived within 10 mins. It took a very minutes to arrive at the hotel, during the journey the driver and I had a chat about the usual British thing, the weather! On arrival at the hotel I was greeted by a friendly gent who checked me and advised me of the breakfast timing. Made my way to the very clean bedroom and unpacked my wash bag and promptly got ready for bed. Once my head it the pillow I do not remember a thing until 7.00. I was very surprised NOT to hear a distant rumble of planes as the hotel is right beside the airfield. Having checked the window I understood why - an very deep double glazing set-up - excellent. Following a shower in the clean and tidy shower room I made my way down for breakfast. A good variety of choices, cold and hot were available, all help yourself. Great.
Following departure which was very simple I awaited the public service bus that comes DIRECT to the hotel main door which took me on to the railway station for onward travel to Cardiff. All in all a great way to end the holiday with no rush or panic.

I would recommend this as well as return. It was completely worth the value. Thank you.
