Traveling alone many hours, late at night, after a trying experience in San Francisco, I was relieved to see The Holiday Inn sign in a well lit area near the freeway. A secure feeling came over me upon seeing it was an Inn of inner hallways. Standing in the quiet elegance of the lobby was a serene and kind Receptionist with a smile. She made me feel I found the right place. Quickly and carefully, she booked me a very nice room. The scent of cookies filled the air. After listening to my short story of relief in finding her there to welcome this dusty freeway traveler at 9:30 in the night, she offered me cookies and milk. That made me smile and feel good inside as I carried them up the elevator to my room. I opened the door to find everything in order and very clean with plenty towels, a bathtub and shower. The cookies and milk with a few pages read in my book underneath the downy comfort of the bed so cozy turned my travel story into a happy ending. I was safe and sound, ready to drive another 7 hours home the next morning after a good breakfast in The Holiday Inn.

Good rooms, rude staff. The girl at the front desk when we arrived was very rude, but when we checked out the
next day, the woman I dealt with was very professional

We reserved two rooms for a two night stay. We requested that they at least be close to one another.
The reservations were made weeks in advance.
We arrived 3 and a half hours after check-in only to find the rooms were not ready. Once the rooms were ready we learned that they were on two different floors.
The door to my room did not close completely. We constantly had to push/pull the door to close before the safety locks could be applied or when leaving the room.
We could hear every step taken by the people in the room above us...all night long.
Housekeeping never serviced the rooms, made up the beds, or provided a change of linen. When asked for just 3 clean towels a female housekeeper replied: "We only have dirty towels right now."
Even if that was a true statement why tell the customer that!?!?
Worst stay in a Holiday Inn....
