The TV is dated and the channel selection is also limited. If you try and change the channel there is a 4-5 sec delay before the next channel appears. They also have a train that runs behind the hotel at 4:00am - 5:00am that wakes the dead, so if you're planning on being up that early then no need for a wake up call. The internet is slow, and at times unstable, but gets the job done. The mattress is also very, very firm. I personally don't like that, but I know a lot of people do. You can also feel the plastic cover beneath the bed-sheet which leaves you to wonder what people have done in this place to require such a think plastic mattress cover.
The property is in great condition, and the room was in good condition.If you're looking for value then this is your place, however if you're going to be working in your room or spending time in your room other hotels maybe what your looking for.

i have stayed here for one week back in December and now another two weeks here in January. Overall the place is pretty good. other than the extremely loud train. well now my second trip brought a whole new experience... I am here for work, as my company has an arrangement with the hotel, well apparently the first floor is pet friendly. WASNT made aware of this at all. so after 20 min of constant barking after working an 11 hour day on a sat after already 60 hours in that week, i call politely to the front desk. I am told that its a pet friendly place and if i want to pack up my belongings I could probably move to the 2nd or third floor?!!!?! WHAT why am I being inconvenienced not only by the loud barking dogs, but now i have to pack up everything I have for 13 days and move two or three floors? after another 20 30 min of barking i go up to the front desk again and they offer to move the couple and their obnoxious animals. only to have them confront me in the hallway and call me an idiot and that this place is pet friendly and its only 5 o'clock in the evening. NO WHERE IS THIS LISTED ON THE PREMISES OR MADE AWARE TO ME OR MY COLLEAGUES IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. I couldn't find it on the internet, or in and documentation in the room. Dogs are not meant to stay in hotel rooms.
Complaint numer two! After the whole first week of my stay and me letting the front desk know every day that the spa outside was freezing cold, it was never fixed. Came back after the holidays to find the hot tub at 60 degrees again. told front desk, checked next day. no change. told front desk, checked next day. no change....and so on 6 days later it was finally to temp. only to come back to hotel today. and find it drained almost halfway.
MY NEXT STAY BACK HERE WILL BE STAYING IN THE SELMA LOCATION OF HOLIDAY INN.
