Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loved our stay at Ft. Lauderdale Cruise-Airport Our stay at the Ft. Lauderdale Cruise-Airport was wonderful. The room was comfortable, clean and located in a nice area of Ft. Lauderdale. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. January 30, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Still waiting for my refund that I was promised My husband and I booked a night (2 months in advance) to stay at this hotel before going on our cruise. After a long flight from Seattle, we showed up and they told us that they did not have a room with a King size bed available (that I already reserved and paid for). Since I didn't have time to find another place to stay we stayed here...my husband and I sleeping in separate beds because they only had rooms with 2 twin beds available. THEY GAVE AWAY THE ROOM I PAID FOR TO SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE I GOT THERE!! (that's what the front counter clerk told us anyway)They offered to give me a partial refund since the room we were getting was cheaper. I took it and went to bed....that was a month ago. I still do NOT have my refund. I have called several times with a response that someone will call me back. Nope, no call. Oh, and not only did they do this to us...they also did it to my parents who booked the same room as me and were going on the same cruise!!! They also did not get their refund like they said. We both have inquiries on our credit cards so it can finally be resolved since we have receipts stating we would get a refund. but hey, the breakfast was good at least. January 30, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stressed out staff. Many problems Front desk was friendly upon check-in but the whole time we were there( 2 nights) there seemed to be problems w many guests. I had to stand in a line of people with various issues to let the front desk know that out room that was next to the elevator was too loud and not acceptable. We requested a change about 1 hour after we checked in and I was scolded by the manger for not making the request before bringing our bags in. She informed me that it was a "full house and there was no housekeeping at night". Just her and the gentleman at the front desk. Enough said. After sitting in her office for about 10-15 minutes of her explaining why she could neither move us or allow us a refund in order to check in elsewhere she ultimately moved us to another room and acted as if they were doing us a huge favor by giving us a room that wasn't next to loud elevator doors. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jan. 2016 Cruise This a good hotel in Ft. Lauderdale if you are cruising out of Lauderdale. The location is ideal. Easy transfer to ship and back. Many restaurants close by. Also a shopping center with in walking distance. The staff are very helpful. January 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OUTSTANDING SERVICE My wife and I were stranded in Fort Lauderdale because of the snow storms on the East Coast, January 24, 2016. We were given a list of hotels my the airlines. We called many and found that we had to call back after 1:00pm. We made contact with Hoiday Inn Express. We were able to book a room at 11am. They picked us up at the airport by 11:30 and we were allow to checi in early 1200pm. We were also given a late checkout the following day as our flight was later in the day. The breakfast was very good, and the service was outstanding. This made our day in Fort Lauderdale Florida. We enjoyed the local restaurants, which Holiday Inn Express recommended. THANK YOU Holiday Inn Express, Fort Lauderdale, you are indeed an AWARD WINNING HOTEL. We wish we could rate you higher than EXCELLENT...... Dan and Joanne Foley January 28, 2016
