I am sorry but we did not enjoy this experience, the mattress was too soft, the pillows too hard, there was no extractor or means of ventilation in the bathroom and at the time there was a problem with the Wi-Fi which continued for more than 24 hrs, by stepping next door to the smugglers bar I got instant access and a very good signal. Being there for business as well as leisure it was extremely frustrating not to be able to work from my room. My wife has a back condition and our room could not have been any further away from the lifts so overall this was not a good experience. The staff were friendly and efficient and obviously could do nothing about the Wi-Fi issues and when we mentioned the pillows we were advised we could have had them changed

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NEVER TOO LATE Friendly, helpful staff and great location
Enjoyed a lovely weekend break in Liverpool...many thanks to the kind staff who were most informative and helpful. The room was fine with great views...some of the communal areas however seemed in need of revamping. The Hotel was clean and in a great location near shops, cafes, and bars. It was also close to the Tate and Walker galleries and we even managed a visit to port Sunlight. On a personal note it would have been nice to have a shower cap in the bathroom and a comfortable chair in the bedroom would have been a delight...but I would certainly return to this hotel again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pete and irene Good location. Interesting building
On a recent quick trip to Liverpool, my wife and I stayed at this hotel. The location is terrific, on the docks, walking distance from the city. Close to lots of bars and restaurants and the Beatles story.
The building itself is interesting, a huge old warehouse or factory that has been converted.
Overall a good experience and I would stay again if in Liverpool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rigby W Consistently good and great location
The rooms are clean and spacious, most with great views over the river or the dock. The staff are generally pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is somewhat limited but as its free not a cause for complaint.
My only negative comment relates to the lifts which work totally independently of each other, so you never know which one to call as you can't see which floor they're on.

Comfortable room, magnificent setting. Even though it was Saturday night, very little noise. Able to have a good rest after our own night out amongst the revellers. Gluten free options at breakfast very welcome.

From when we arrived at the hotel every member of staff was very polite & professional the room was basic but very clean . The location overlooking the Albert Dock & liverbirds must be the envy of most city centre hotels . We will definitely return .

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by LDNMaz Great service but some let-downs in amenities
Very friendly staff (although be aware if coming back late you'll need to give name and room number to a locked front door) and pleasant interior.
Limited breakfast selection with no variety day to day. Had some issues with shower but likely resolved after stay.

we stayed overnight for a short break .Liverpool is a friendly place to be for shopping dining out or sight seeing.,The hotel was excellent. only one issue ,I wish the breakfast plates were a little bit larger .although we don't have a large amount of breakfast on our plates they did appear to be somewhat overcrowded
