Despite booking this hotel due to being informed it had ample parking I got there to find out that the parking is actually off site.
Also poor communication between staff

I booked this hotel via central booking and was told by the guy that he had reserved me a parking place outside the hotel as places were limited.
When I arrived at about 8.00pm, I was told that I did not have a space as it was first come first served.
I was also told that the hotel did not serve food, something I wasn`t told on booking the hotel. The receptionist told me that she could order takeaway for me. Not something I would associate with a hotel group of this standing.
I came to the bar at about 10pm and was ignored by 2 staff.
Breakfast was ok but not a great choice.
Won`t be staying here again in a hurry.

Everything was as I would expect from the Holiday Inn Express, clean room and bathroom, comfortable clean bed and a good breakfast. Didn't trust that I had set the automated telephone alarm properly, so didn't sleep too well as I didn't want to be late, so kept waking up to check time. Preferred when I knew I could rely on a person to call.
