Unless you like a very soft bed, would not recommend. Mechanical noise woke me up at 4am. Seems to be a problem as hey have complimentary earplugs by your bed - but not strong enough to eliminate the noise.

Just so you understand how bad this bed is I have to take you back to the 80s when I was a recruit in the RAF.
I slept mainly on a saggy, twenty year old 4" thick mattress. The mattress perched 'inside' an even more saggy frame of bedsprings. You got more support from a string hammock!
This double bed was worse! When I sat in the middle it lifted at the ends! When I moved my Wife rolled to the middle. We lay longing for the sofa bed which was occupied by a soundly sleeping 7yo.
The morsel of hope was the free breakfast. OMG! I thought you only saw grey scrambled eggs in black and white movies. The other hot options were sausages and beans. Shocking!
When I informed the staff in the morning they said they would have changed the room last night. That's fine, however this is not what you want to do at midnight with a sleeping child.
Disappointed to have wasted loyalty points here.
So why not one out of five? The location is good, only two minutes walk from Old Street tube. Good restaurants nearby too.
Check your bed and get your room changed early. I was in 415. I hope to get some points back. This is the polar opposite of the Edinburgh Holiday Inn where I stayed two days earlier 4/5.
