Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for money hotel I use this hotel when ever I visit London, over the past 6 years I have found the standard of accommodation /breakfast remains consistently high. Location perfect for central London and surrounding areas. Staff are professional and friendly. We will continue to use this hotel and recommend it to friends and family. April 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Surprisingly quiet! Although this hotel is on a main road by a very busy junction, there was no traffic noise in the room / bar / restaurant / breakfast room. Bus outside the hotel goes straight into central London, passing several tube stations along the way. Good choice of breakfast. Wouldn't recommend evening bar food though - lasagna portion was minuscule! Breakfast room was supervised with great panache by Beverley! Her eyes were everywhere and help was offered before requested - she peeled two oranges for us as soon as she saw us struggle with them. She also gave us instructions on how to dry the peel and use it to make tea! Magnificent! April 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Staff who worked hard to please. Only problem was poor TV (sound) in room / broken TV in lounge area. No Sky. Staff - particularly barman - tried to help but could not fix problems. Set up breakfast room one for us to watch 'match of the day'. As we were down for Cup semi final could catch up on highlights. Had to go out to pub to watch other semi final night before. April 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great alternative to central London hotels Standard Holiday Inn Express with everything you would expect from this Group. However, the plus for this hotel is there is a bus stop at the door and two tube stations within a 10-15 minute bus ride - you can be in Central London in 25 minutes, but you don't pay Central London hotel prices. For the traveller on a budget, this hotel offers a great alternative. Also, there are a wide variety of restaurants with easy walking distance. April 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff but a little on the tired side I stay at this hotel regularly on business. The facilities are somewhat basic, but pretty much as you'd expect from this type of hotel and perfectly adequate. There's a bar and seating area, and a breakfast/dinner area which offers a decent selection of hot and cold foods. The hotel is generally very clean and well presented. The rooms are basic but comfortable and again clean. The decor, carpets, furniture and shower area are definitely in need of a refresh as everything is looking rather worn and tired. The showers generally work fine, but often have leaks and a few cracked tiles. The carpets and walls have the odd stain or splash marks and the furniture is a little chipped. The TVs in the room are rather dated and need replacing and as they are square (4:3) rather than widescreen (16:9), the TV shows don't fit on the screen fully. There are only a handful of TV channels available, limited to the standard 5 terrestrial, a few foreign language channels and some radio. BBC2 is unwatchable in any room as the sound is distorted. Other free channels like FilmFour have mysteriously disappeared over the last couple of years. The hotel provides car parking with around 35 spaces, although it is often very difficult to find a space, especially in the evening. Cars end up double parked and parking along the kerbs rather than in bays. Some of this is likely due to the collection of sports cars that the owner apparently keeps there. The hotel staff are excellent; very friendly and helpful. Those on reception, the bar and in the restaurant are always very cheerful and happy to chat or assist with any problems. Even the cleaners say hello! There are numerous restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the vicinity, there is a bus stop right outside plus the tube station is merely 15 minutes walk away. Overall, its a decent hotel to stay at and, due to location and the staff, i prefer to stay here than any of the other hotels in the area. It definitely needs some TLC but is absolutely adequate otherwise and exactly what you might expect from this kind of hotel. April 20, 2015
