Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 Very pleasant stay Attended this hotel as was going to a show at the o2 , was a 3minwalk to station where we was able to go one stop to the venue ,very easy n accessible ,staff and check in was efficient room was pleasant decor and very comfy. We were given option of being at front or back of hotel and we had a lovely view of the o2, although there was building work going on around but this didn't spoil our stay at all. Would stay here again if we had a night in London. 3. September 2014
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by I've stayed here 20+ times The overall standard is average, most stays have been fine but unfortunately the bad ones tend to stick in your mind. The type of guest it attracts are the sort that are quite happy to talk and shout in the corridors past midnight. What has specifically prompted this average review (I don't usually bother as you tend get what you pay for# was that I asked for a quiet room but I was placed on the 4th floor where the air con was intolerably loud and kept me awake. I had that 12.00 pm will it stop or do I complain moment. That said I'm staying there 3 nights next week so I'm hoping they have that sorted it out, if not I won't be putting up with that again. I'm sure I'll get the "we are sorry to hear about....." email but until they actually have a concerted effort to improve the standards then it will only ever be average #The price and convenience for Central London is good) 31. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Comfortable Holiday inn express canning town is a lovely hotel. Staff are friendly ,breakfast is included in the price which is good. Some people might not like the location as there is not much in the area.. But great links into the centre of London is 2 mins away. 31. August 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Great Location This hotel is in a great location for accessing London without the high price of the more central hotels. The short walk to Canning Town (where there is the DLR as well as the Jubilee Line for the Tube) makes it easy and quick to get to many of the major tourist and business hot-spots. The prices are very good considering how convenient the hotel is. The staff are very hard-working, especially the breakfast ladies who have to rush about madly trying to keep all the foods and plates/cutlery stocked, it looked an exhausting job! The hotel was very busy during my (3 night) stay, so the breakfast areas were heaving with people, and some small problems (e.g. one of the hot drink machines being out of order) did produce short queues, but it wasn't a major issue. I would recommend this hotel to people with one major proviso: If you are a light sleeper, or if you have an early morning meeting, or a job interview, or anything else that requires a long and restful sleep - treat with caution! All 3 nights of my stay were very restless due to the very loud noise from adjoining rooms (conversations through thin walls, music channels blaring on the TV, yelling kids) and the constant slamming of corridor doors. If you're a heavy sleeper, though, then this hotel is an excellent deal for the price, and I'd recommend it! 27. August 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Clean and well maintained hotel Although this relatively new hotel was clean and provides a good breakfast, the location was a bit too far out of London Centre for our needs. Also, because of the multi-national staff, it was difficult to communicate, both over the telephone and face-to-face. We wouldn't stay at this hotel again when sightseeing around London. 26. Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Get Docked Inn! Great value hotel with easy connections to Central London/ airports. Standard HIEx fare - rooms, breakfast, appearance all in line with brand expectations. Free standard WiFi in all rooms now but real pain is having to complete full registration every time you want to use it. Not able to save router/ web details on screen. Bar was poorly stocked during our visit with only 1 of 3 draft taps available, no Gin of any description 20. August 2014
