Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by poor service The shower curtain was very dirty, the hotel smelt of cigarette smoke. The only little speck of smile was from the reception gentlemen. I was very disappointed. Carpets dirty,I requestes battery change in my remote as TV wouldn't go off. I went to my meeting for the whole day only to come back the TV was still on,remote unchanged. 18. Februar 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Convenient and good value, helpful staff, USELESS WIFI I stayed here for one night when I needed to stay in London for work. I was working in Canary Wharf so this hotel is excellent value for a convenient location near Docklands and City Airport. Its not the best area but the hotel itself is good quality, relatively new , the rooms are good quality, comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I actually left something and they helped me locate it and get it back. BUT don't stay here if you want a reliable and usable wifi service. I am a platinum elite member so get the premium wifi - but this service (even if you can get a connection and its not overloaded) is throttled to 1mb download speed - yes that's right 1mb !!!! In this day and age that is completely useless and unacceptable - Lord knows what the standard service is like. As it happens I have 4g mobile service on my phone which was able to get 60mb (yes that's right 60x the download speed of the hotel wifi). So I didn't bother with the hotel wifi and tethered my mobile phone instead. It is unacceptable for Hi-Express to be offering such a dismal wifi service. 16. Februar 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great Location Stayed 1 night after attending a concert at the o2 with my son. Great location for the o2 or excel centre. 5 minutes from the tube station and about 10 minutes walk to the Emirates skyline that we went on to get to the o2. We got a taxi back from the o2 that cost £17. The man on reception greeted us warmly when we checked in and was still there when we got back from the concert and was really interested to know we'd had a good time.Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was attending another concert. 15. Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great room great staff Just returned from a 2 night stay and we were delighted with the accomodation. Whilst not the closest to central London, it's proximity to the underground made it easily accessible. The room was good size - plenty of room for the 3 of us (and my daughter loved her bed) - spotless and the facilties were really good. The breakfast may not have been a full English but there was plenty to choose from, all frsh and constantly replenished, and set us up well for the day. All thestaff were great and really friendly, and we were able to relax and enjoy. Slept great! I've stayed in many 'budget' hotels - many of which cost more than this - and there is no comparison - this really was excellent value for money. Will defintely be coming back! 13. Februar 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Excellent choice My daughter and I chose this hotel because of its locality to the O2 Arena. Short walk down a well lit main road to the tube and only one stop away from our venue. Also Stratford and Olympic village and excellent shopping mall only 2 stops on the tube. Booking in at reception took minutes and my request for a quiet room on a low floor had been adhered to. Our room was excellent, beds comfortable, lighting good, plenty electric plugs. Free Wi fi. Bathroom very clean. Staff were well trained and courteous. The only negative was breakfast which could be improved. Bacon wasn't on the menu. Coffee from machine was very mediocre and fruit juices very watery. However I would return and recommend the hotel to friends and family. 12. Februar 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Nice hotel friendly staff We only stayed one night which was a shame. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only co0mplaint dispite it being winter the room was too warm and the airconditioning to noisy to leave on all night.we would stay again 12. Februar 2014
