Our previous stays at the Luton Airport hotel have been excellent, but this stay was a disappointment.
The bathroom was smelly (I think it was the shower curtain) and one of the bathroom lights didn't work, and the breakfast was below standard (awful, weak and watery orange 'juice', burnt toast, stale croissants). Also, two of the three beers at the bar weren't available.
The staff were also less efficient and friendly than the normally are (although still OK).
For some reason our stay cost us much more than before, too, so the poorer experience was even more unfortunate.
I have always happily recommended this hotel, but if we get the same poorer quality experience and have to pay as much next time, it will be the last time we use it.

Convenient location but no dedicated bus transfer. No signs at the airport how to get to the hotel. Probably a 10 - 15 minute walk if the weather is ok. Reception could only say that the buses in the morning were "about every 10 to 15 minutes. " £6 taxi ride.
Recognition for platinum membership was one free drink between 2 of us. Not consistent with other hotels in the same chain.
Very average microwaved food.
Very busy in July and very expensive for the standard of hotel. All those winter stays don't count when they can take advantage in high summer season.

We'll done to the general manager of the day of our arrival, for what you done for me & my family on the day we arrived, cannot thank you enough. You & your staff went out of your way to help us out in every way, will not forget that. Thank you. Highly recommended hotel all round, will definitely be using you again when we return.
