First, I must state that the hotel was having floor remodeling at the time of my visit. A lot of this may seem trivial, but important to this 4-5 nights a week traveler. More convenient entrance door locks were inopporalive, so the main front was the only door available. Elevators and stairwells were dirty. Pool and spa were posted "out of order", yet staff said all was ok, caution tape blocked hallway to them and fitness room. Room was clean, but closet shelf/hangar rack was loose on wall, hangars did not fit rod, falling on floor with clothes. Shower curtain rod was loose, drooping, and curtain ripped at most rod holes. Fridge rocked, unleveled. Floor crew seemed "bothered" with my presence, yet I've been in the construction business for 38 years, and know how to work with remodeling crews. It would've been good to know of remodeling on website, less of a shock if chosen, but I think this was an isolated situation, with perhaps an unaware hotel manager and inferior contractor choice.

Hotel was under remodel. Works were loud, hanging out in the hallways and up all night bring extremly loud!!! The front desk lady was very rude and needs to learn customer service. I'm sn ihg member and I was less than impressed! Amenities were all closed and not able to use. No one told us about the construction going on when we booked and it was not stated on there website!!

I booked a room thru the IHG Group website, the room was a King Jacuzzi suite, I arrived at the Hotel and checked in some of the property is still under renovation but they still manage to keep up the appearance during this, the Staff greeted me and checked me in quickly, I went up to my room and this is where it fell apart, the room door was propped open so we entered with caution. the room was still under construction. there was no furniture the bathtub was full of construction materials and tools. we left the room and went down to the desk to let the staff know, they had a look of disappointment as this has happened before. they only had a room with a king bed that they offered me for 5.00 less than my Jacuzzi suite. at this point we asked for help to call other Holiday inns and find a comparable room and none were available, so we chose not to stay and drove back home, not the valentines day I was planning for me and my wife. Still not sure if this was a Holiday inn express issue or an IHG problem but there is a lack of communication between them on rooms available.
