Doubt I'll be back. Rooms are okay amenity wise but you can hear EVERYTHING in the adjacent rooms and hallways. From the suite rooms you must walk across the freezing cold parking lot to the main building for breakfast, front desk, etc.

Great until morning. The door jammed, so even though it gave the green signal when we swiped our key card, the door would not open. At the moment, we were on the outside, trying to load up our car. The dog was trapped inside. The desk lady tried, but could also not open the door. Eventually, while waiting for further help, I was able to open the door by repeatedly using the card and jiggling the handle. So, we tried to finish loading our car, while keeping the door propped open,so no one was trapped inside.
At that point, another guest's dog (a pit bull or pit bull mix) comes running up the hall without a leash on, runs into our room and attacks our dog. Fortunately our dog was not hurt, but we were extremely upset.
We reported the incident, and hope that there is a process to keep people who do not control their animals to be prevented from again staying at the hotel with an animal!

Our room was clean, quiet and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on while traveling. We decided to do a trip to Paso Robles at the last minute and all the hotels and B&B's were booked and I will admit that the Holiday Inn was not my first choice. That said we were so pleased with every aspect of the hotel including staff, cleanliness and excellent location that this will now be our first choice when traveling.
Thank you for enhancing our stay in a great area to visit.
