Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by sehr Empfehlenswert wir haben Problem gehabt mit unserem Navigator TomTom 910 das Hotel zu finden, da das Gerät die Strasse gefunden hat aber die Nummer nicht. Statt Nummer wurde Kreuzung angezeigt!, vielleicht sollte man sich vorher telefonisch erkundigen. 1. August 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Bang for your Buck All staff were exemplary, especially Barbara, Vincent, Conchetta and the day to evening shifts. Only problem was the Night Shift gentleman - he was nice enough, but spoke zero English in a Holiday nn I find that weird), and was not mechanically inclined. The hotel was clean, bright, generous breakfast unlike in the US, and they were able to repair the plugged up sink but not the Air Conditioning. Either that or the AC did not exist. I am from Florida and I am used to 80 degree weather, but even this was uncomfortable for me. You can open the glass door 3 inches, but that is all. No fans, not fun 2 - 3 nights of 12. Computers are easy to use, again, day staff in attendance - no problem, night shift - you are on your own. 3. Juni 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Excellent staff!!! We loved our stay!! The staff, especially Vincenzo, really made our experience at this hotel a great one. He was always eager to help us. Whether it was our Vatican tickets not printing, us not knowing how to work the air conditioner or finding our way, Vincenzo was always there to help. He also went out of his way to see if our SUV would fit in the secured parking garage. And when it didn't, he offered parking in front of the hotel where the security cameras would be able to see. When we were sightseeing in central Rome, our two children had an allergic reaction to nuts so my husband had to take a taxi to the nearby hospital while I took the rest of our family back to the hotel. Vincenzo offered to drive us to the hospital after his shift because I told him I was afraid to drive in Rome. But we declined as my husband needed to be picked up and he still had another hour and half to go on his shift. He gave us his business card and told us to call the hotel if we needed anything. He was truly our angel. The rooms were clean and spacious, something I was not expecting in a European hotel. The breakfast options were great and I loved the espresso machine. The hotel is located a bit away from the metro but they do offer shuttles to the metro. We brought our own vehicle so we were able to drive to the station and park everyday. The metro was about 1.5 miles from the hotel. There was also a shopping center next to the hotel which was great. We will definitely stay her again if we ever decide to drive to Rome again. 2. Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by TOP VALUE/TOP STAFF IN ISOLATED DISTRICT VISITED THIS HOTEL IN MAY 2014..STAFF WERE GREAT THE ROOM/BATHROOM WAS GOOD SIZE AND VERY CLEAN .THE BREAKFAT WAS GOOD AND ADEQUATE ..OVERALL A VERY WELL PRICED AND ACCEPTABLE HOTEL..HOWEVER THE BIIGEST PROBLEM IS THAT THIS HOTEL IS VERY VERY ISOLATED IN A GENERALLY RUN DOWN DISTRICT ..IF YOU HAVE A CAR OR YOU ARE PARTOF A TOURING BUS GROUP THEN THIS HOTEL IS IDEAL .. HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CAR OR YOU ARE NOT PART OF A TOURING BUS GROUP THEN IT IS BEST TO AVOID THIS HOTEL..THEIR ARE NO GOOD SHOPPING MALLS IN THE IMMEDIATE DISTRICT AND TAXIS TO ROME EAST SHOPPING MALL WILL COST 25 EUROS TO THE MALL AND ANOTHER 25 EUROS BACK TO THE HOTEL ..THEIR ARE VERY VERY FEW NICE RESTAURENTS NEAR TO THIS HOTEL SO RESTAURENT CHOICE IS EXTREMELY LIMITING IN THIS RUN DOWN DISTRICT... 1. Rated 2,0 out of 5,0 by Night staff not accomodating This was actually our second stay at Rome East in 3 weeks. Our first experience was very good. This time we arrived late and had to leave early to catch a flight. The receptionist (a guy) at the front desk did not speak English well. We tried to tell him our Air Conditioning didn't work. He told us to wait for it to kick in. We waited 30 mins and still no luck. We asked him to come up to the room to see if we were doing something wrong. He played with it for a minute or so and then pretty much told us we were out of luck. It was over 80 degrees in the room. Luckily my husband disengaged the safety latch on the huge windows they have and we slept with it open, still on top of the covers. If not for the window we would have roasted. The next morning it was the same guy since we left so early. He refused to give us a discount for our inconvenience. Very disappointed, 30. Mai 2014

Poor ventilation due to limited ability to open window/door.. Shower stall very uncomfortable The location is poor in proximity to Central Rome and very far from Fiumicino. We expected much better from Holiday Inn 26. Mai 2014
