I would never stay at this hotel again. Very dirty and ran down. The rooms were in poor shape and the morning breakfast area was a mess. Too much money for this location.

Great room that was clean and spacious. Staff was helpful and seemed concerned about helping in any way possible.

While the mattress was comfortable and I slept well, the room seemed a bit dingy, and the housekeeping ladies were so hot in the basement with the laundry going on that they had to prop open the back door in order to get proper ventilation in their work space. Hope the hotel will give these ladies some proper air conditioning in the future. The front desk ladies were nice but when I asked for a late check out they said I had to join a frequent guest club first and they asked for some of my personal information that I would have preferred not give, but I needed a shower and place to change. Despite the late check-out arrangement, my key would not work and had to be remagnetized, meaning I had to parade down in my bathing suit and towel to the front desk. Another guest left a dog unattended in the room two times and it barked nonstop for more than an hour. I was concerned about the dog and was not happy with the less than professional way it was handled by the staff. The breakfast food was OK (skip the pancakes and coffee and go for the cereal and bagels) but was served with plastic and styrofoam plates and utensils...awful. Would not stay here again as there are better places by the water for same cost. Staff here were friendly and very chatty with each other but seemed to forget they were running a business and a corporate hotel. The laundry staff should be better trained and given better working conditions. The pool should be better maintained and worked on during off-hours.
