Rm 106 is the worst room in that hotel. Besides noice at the electrical room there's also noise outside the window when people chat in that small hall.
I ask the receptionist to put me back to the room I had the first day but did not do it. Ask her that I will accept that room as long as I can rest there like ghe first day but she lied to me. Informed her yhat I wasn't happy and was not able to rest at all because of the noise. Other thing was the room was prepaid by my company and that lady charged my credit card with full amount. I informed front desk today upon seeing it in my credit card charges. I will be back in the area next month for a 3 day work and I'm planning not to stay there even if I can accrue the points of being a gold IHG member.

As a person who requests the ADA room at most hotels, it is strange to me that every Holiday Inn Express I stay at has the ADA room at the farthest end of the hallways. This room was that way....almost the last room, right next to an exit door which was fine, but for Breakfast, I had to walk the length of two long hallways to get tot he Breakfast area. Something for HIE to think about. The bathroom had plenty of bars but the sink counter is sooooo small, there is no where to put my toiletry bag or other personal items. Literally, 4" on each side of the sink. Finally, the complimentary shampoo and other toiletries are in these hard plastic bottles that someone with arthritis like me cannot squeeze. Those were my 3 annoyances. Otherwise the room was quiet, bed was comfy, had a good stay.
Please Holiday Inn Corporate - run your ADA rooms past a real person with disabilities.
