My parents travel from Oregon to Southern California a couple times a year. They recommended this Holiday Inn Express to me on a recent trip up to Northern California and back. A pleasant way to break up a 9 1/2 hour drive!

The hotel was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, everything worked, there were plenty of towels. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and the grounds were very clean, didn't have a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting. Noticed they have a BBQ pit too, that would be great to use when using pool as it's within close proximity to pool. I would stay here again, no question.

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Git R Done Very comfortable bed, great wifi and great service by the staff.
Every thing was great except the breakfast service. At previous Holiday Inn Express experiences the breakfast was served at 6am instead of 6:30am. I noticed several other guests waiting for the breakfast area to open up. Due to traffic concerns we needed to be on the road no later than 6:30am. The coffee in the lobby had probably been made the night before. We had to go to a truck stop to get fresh coffee. Something to work on.

The corridor outside the rooms has concrete floors, whenever someone walks past with a suitcase, you can hear it - it sounds as loud as a training going past. Internet is intermittent and the front desk can not be bothered to take a phone call if it is late in the evening.

We liked the hotel and stayed in it twice within the same trip up and back to Northern California. Our first stay we were downstairs and the person upstairs woke us up very early in the morning stomping back and forth in their room. The second time we requested an upstairs room and never heard a thing. Much better. The pool was absolutely wonderful and we spent a lot of time in it. The breakfast was pretty good except for the eggs which were watery. I also like flavored creamer for my coffee, but they didn't have any, just the plain creamer. But there were a lot of good choices for breakfast. The only downside to our stay (which had nothing to do with the hotel) was that we found it challenging to find a decent restaurant for dinner other than fast food. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT IN THE TRUCK STOP. TERRIBLE FOOD!!! ALL OF IT. We will stay at this hotel again on our next trip up the state.

Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by bwjpoo shower tub drain plugged
there were 3 of us seniors. one 87, one 80 and one 77.
I asked for a room on the first floor. they said they were all full.
They said we have elevator you can use. so they put us in a room at the end of the upstairs about 250 ft. from the elevator. so you have to walk with a walker 250 ft. to use the elevator and then about 350 ft. to get breakfast. it looks like they want to make it hard on senior's.
shower drain was plugged up with hair. called front desk, they can't have any one to get to it. so I pulled the drain plug out and pulled some of the hair out so the water could drain.
I live in senior community with over 7200 people over 55 yrs.
I posted on our web sight, warning do not use this hotel.
