We liked the room and felt the very modern technilogical features were great, but wished the clerk had explained how to use them, took us awhile to figure out how to use them on our own and we were tired, so this was challenging. Loved the blue nightlight effect in the bathroom for night use! Bathroom was very spacious and the shower was the best, adequate room and easy to use controls. Unsure why no washcloths in bathroom. Also our room had some sort of big stain on the carpet next to one side of the bed. Room also needs an electrical outlet that is accessible from head of the bed for guests. Bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Breakfast layout and contents were really nice. Overall, one of the better rooms we have stayed and would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

This Holiday Inn expereince in Munich was outstanding! The receptionists were very cordial and sincere. They spoke english very well and were cheerful. The rooms were clean and modern. I will defintely stay here in the future when I fly into Munich.

The room was hot. If I opened the window I heard the planes and could not sleep. Even though I turned the thermo way down there was still heat coming out of the register. They said the A/C was turned off for the season.
The Internet service was terrible. I had to keep re-entering the password and user name many times.
The person at the desk was not knowledgeable about giving us direction to Dachau.
Breakfast was good. Place was clean.
Having to pay 5 Euros for each ride to the airport was annoying. We stayed two days and made trips into Munich so it turned out to be quite expensive.

We stayed at this hotel after arriving late in munich airport the only downside at the present time is the lack of direction from the airport.the airport itself has roadworks around the terminals and exits are not very clear the hotel staff were cheerful and the overall stay was good .We would use this hotel again.

We switched hotels at the last minute because we were too far for a return home flight to the states. When we pleasantly surprised when we arrived at 9:30 am with our luggage to store that our room was already ready. I was grateful to secure our luggage and head out to Munich for our last day of holiday. I would recommend this hotel. The only negative was we wanted to catch a bite late at night and the restaurant's menus is very limited.

I really wanted to recommend this hotel. My first stay there was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean. There was an issue with construction starting early in the morning to which the manager quickly discounted my rate and erased my previous evenings meal as well as in preparation for my second trip moved my room far from the noise of construction.
My second stay a few days later however was a disaster. Upon returning my car rental I arrived at the bus station to go to the hotel only to find about 30 persons waiting to for the hotel bus which at best holds 7 people and only arrives every 30 minutes. The bus driver told us to "wait" and would be back "soon". After about 15 minutes another couple and I shared a taxi to the hotel which ran 15 Euros. That evening when I went to book the car back to the airport the next morning I was informed the only option was 6:30 am which was four hours before my flight. I then was forced to book another cab which was another 15 Euros (total 30, my car rental was only 38).
I really felt that the hotel should have provided another shuttle. Despite the fact that I found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful in finding local places to shop I have to say that I would not stay at this hotel again. I understand the airlines have issues sometimes and that they are directed to the hotel, but the hotel should make the necessary preparations for the next day in the event that they know there will be an influx of people. As a platinum member I would expect a bit more flexibility.

This hotel is newly refurbished and very convenient to the Munich Airport; it was also fairly close to the U-Bahn line into Munich (station was 15 minutes by car). The next little town of Halbermoos had a number of restaurants (we had dinner at La Forchetta). Unfortunately the hotel beds were terrible and the pillows felt like concrete sacks ----- result was a poor night's sleep. Just a little bit more (better beds) would have rated it an excellent. One last note, it would alo benefit from a few clothes hooks in the room and bathroom and some place for clothing storage.

Was not aware that the shuttle was free for Platinum members, so we took a taxi instead of waiting sind the charge was $5 per person. Everything else was excellent - great service!
