the service is good and the staff is hospital,but the environment surroudings is bad ,hopefully the construction work is over.

The service was excellent! Professional and friendly staff, always cheerful and smiling.
Location is in the Jinqiao area, close enough to WaiGaoJiao (if you are there for business). Many neighbourhood shops near the hotel seling food, clothes, etc to explore if one is inclined. More upscale malls and eateries located after the Jinqiao Rd Metro station (Jinqiao International Business Plaza) about 500m away, say a 10 minute walk or so.
Note that construction of new metro line is in progress around the hotel with road diversions.
Room was up to mark for HIE (yes, I have since found out there are no refrigerators in HIEs across China); clean and functional. Takes some time to warm up the room though.
Breakfast was surprisingly decent; standard fare for HIE but there were green vegetables, fruit, onion rings, salad and pasta among other things; good enough mix of Chinese/Western. Perhaps can do something other than boiled eggs (scrambled, maybe?).

Comfortable bed and pillow. Staff are able to speak English and very friendly. Overall great experience. Will stay again if back in Shanghai.

The hotel location is so far from the central and it's hard to find even for taxi. We paid RMB 70 to go from the hotel to the central. And when we come back, no taxi accept to take us to the hotel because taxi drivers dont know the hotel location....
We book 1 day city tour, but have no confirmation from our tour office. One staff of hotel (Janes) helped us to find a tour and book for us, although it's not her job. Thanks very much for that, we dont waste 1 our day, and enjoy a beautiful city.

Room and services meet my expectation. It is disappointing that all the past months (more than 200 days of stay) does not earn IHG rewards point, reason being payment was made under Company account. However, IHG rewards system failed to recognize the individual for the choice and preference. I hope this review serve as a wake-up call to IHG rewards club.
