Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Minor Problems My husband and I stayed there over Columbus Day weekend. It was fine with just a few minor problems - the jacuzzi wasn't working one night that we wanted to use it. The selection of breakfast foods (especially hot foods) wasn't that great. They ran out of food on Columbus Day morning and we all had to wait around for quite awhile before they brought out more eggs. And they didn't give us enough large towels for the shower. Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Horrible bed and poor breakfast maintenance Very expensive especially considering what you get. The bed sagged horribly. Neither of us could get even one good night's sleep. Midweek, the breakfast area was very poorly maintained. Countless items needed to be replenished. The lady on weekends did a far better job. With all the hotels in the area, I would not stay at this one again. 18. Oktober 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Thank You Nate (manager) Our stay at this property was not the best we have experienced at a HIE. But thanks to the manager we talked to upon leaving he made it a much more positive one. Small issues lead up to and compound otherwise 'small issues'. So after talking to Nate and explaining our point of view he was most gracious and apologetic for what happened on our two night stay. They know their short comings and have plans to fix them which satisfied me. We have stayed at many HIE properties so I know not every hotel will be a perfect stay. Problems arise, people all cannot have a great day every day etc. I am not one to pick apart any hotel and the issues we had were rectified before we left by the manager over and above what I thought was fair. Perhaps our talk will help, hopefully it will and we just happened to catch a few bad breaks. Not going to lose sleep over it and will continue to support and stay at HIE and other IHG hotels. One thing I will say is, I wish HIE would change up their breakfast menu. Staybridge has the same basic 'breakfast included' but they always seems... a notch above with their food and beverage choices and availability. 12. Oktober 2014
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Disappointing stay. We called to report that our bathroom door would not close. The front desk person's response was 'okay' and we asked if it could be repaired to which she replied 'yes' and ended the conversation. As it was dinner time we called the front desk to see if the door would be repaired soon (to which they replied it would) and we informed them we would be out for about an hour for dinner. Two hours later we returned and were told the repairs were in progress. We found the workers exiting the elevator as we were about to enter and they assured us it was fixed and the door would now close. It did, but only if you lifted the handle and pushed hard. Also, the mess created by the repair was left. 11. Oktober 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by College visit Nothing can be moore stressful after driving 12 hours than checking in to a hotel for the first time and hoping everything is ready for a good night sleep. I prepaid for 2 nights on line. On arrival, i gave my name and credit card for verification and was greeted with nothing but smiles(and my room key of course). I got to my room and hopped in the shower. The Towels were amazingly soft and clean and the whole bathroom was clean and polished. (I hate some places where a paper towel feels softer than the hotel towels). Off to bed. the pillows (4 to choose from) were all clean smelling and fluffy. The sheets made me feel like I was home (so soft!) in some places its like sleeping between 2 pieces of notebook paper! Even though the hotel was full, I hardly heard any noise except for the occasional room door closing and my daughter snoring. I will stay here in the future during college drop off and pickup for my girl. 9. Oktober 2014
