This experience was disappointing mostly because of problem with the internet. While it was not the fault of the hotel, the staff could have handled the situation better. 14. Dezember 2014
Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Comfortable and convenient I stayed here several times within a few weeks due to a job transfer. The Front desk staff was always accommodating and friendly. Diana was extremely helpful and very nice. The hotel manager seemed very nice as well and was constantly greeting guests and tending to their needs. The rooms and areas that I witnessed during my stay were all kept very clean and neat. And it was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast buffet in the morning was good and FREE (if it's free, it's for me), the coffee was good, it offered a variety of choices. And most of all it was clean. The hotel is a good choice and conveniently located. The sports bar is walking distance across the street "Bostons" had good food and 2 for 1 specials everyday all day (if you show your room key you get a discount). There is also an AMC movie theater across the street. the hotel is perfect for business people and families. Now there was one thing that turned me off and is the reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I stayed four times within a one month period, each time being at least 3 nights @ anywhere from $80-$90.00 per night. On my last check out date my car battery died in the parking lot. I went to the desk and asked for assistance and no-one would help me. I had cables, they have my ID, they know my name, I am clean cut and not a psychopath...but no one would give me a jump. Not even other guests in the parking lot. They all said no. I had to call AAA which cost me a lot of time and money. I could have gotten a jump, gone to sears and spent $50-$60.00 but ended up spending 130.00. AND I was late for work. Not a good Sunday Morning. 11. Dezember 2014
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Not What I've Come to Expect from Holiday Inn Express This hotel was nicely located and very clean. The staff was very friendly. But the things that were bad, were very bad. We have come to expect more from the Holiday Inn Express brand. To start off, the elevators were VERY slow and sounded like they needed service. When we got to our room, there were no complimentary bottles of water as is usually provided to IHG Rewards members. The noise level in the room was AWFUL. We could hear conversations next door as well as their television. There were children running in the halls til well past 11 pm. The internet service was horrible. In the middle of doing some online work, the system went away. I notified the front desk. She acted like this had happened before and she said she would reset the system. This did not improve the problem at all. Finally, 2 different times during the evening, people from local restaurants came down our hall shoving flyers under the door to advertise their places. This made us feel that security was very lax in this location. The next time we go to a Bucs football game, we will not be coming back to this particular hotel to stay in the Tampa area. 5. The location is perfect for the business traveler or someone just looking to get away for the nite. 25. November 2014
