I will not be staying here again. My husband is very easily pleased, he doesn't complain about much, but he didn't like this place and said he wouldn't want to come back. We had 2 rooms and they were way down the hall from each other when we wanted them side by side. I am a priority rewards member and I wasn't treated as such. The room beds were very low to the ground. The second room had 2 twin beds for me and my husband we had to switch rooms so we could sleep in the same bed. The towels were rough and hard. It was a clean room, but the pictures made it look 10X's better than what they were.

We had a nice stay. Good quality for the price. Extra bed is suitable for one kid, max age 12 year.
Breakfast was good and enough choice!

Our eight day stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Troisdorf, was absolutely wonderful..and also filled with many delightful "surprises"! The staff was outstanding, personable, thoughtful, well-trained, accommodating, with guest satisfaction a primary concern...and this held true for not only those at the front desk (Theo, Sandra, Rene, Pascal) but also the kitchen staff (Nadine, Simone, Silvia and two young men there part time), the hotel managers and the Housekeeping Staff. We were guests there during a time when the hotel was filled to its capacity (150+, I believe)...with every one working long, difficult hours, but no one complaining! There was always a smile greeting us and an eagerness to fulfill our every need! The weather conditions also were very challenging, producing an unusually large amount of snow. Once again, no one complained, but rather picked up a shovel and cleared the entry for guests (Theo, etc!) We must also mention the "Express Start" breakfast buffet in that it was absolutely Fantastic...beautifully presented..fresh with a large variety of items to choose from...far better than what is offered in the USA! Many thanks to the entire Staff for making our experience so enjoyable! Danka!

Stayed for a night, very friendly, fast check-in, convenient parking and clean rooms, comfortable beds; the kettle was clean and convenient for a cuppa. Highly recommended.
