Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for business I was in the Papendorf area on business: this is a new hotel, with very friendly staff, rooms are good, Internet works well, Breakfast is self-service, which to me is the best option, as I hate waiting for a cup of coffee in the morning... I wouldn't recommend it for tourists, though, as you will need a taxi to go to the center of Utrecht (have seen buses running, but this is mainly a business area) February 5, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Nice hotel but not perfect Our one night stay in this hotel was new for us. We didn't sleep ever in a Holiday Inn facility. The building was very modern and nice inside. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The rooms looked very nice. However the bathroom wasn't considered as very clean as we found some hairs from downstairs. The bed was awful. The matrass was very jumpy, so when 2 people are next to each other and one of them moved, the other was jumped... Breakfast was very poor. I travel a lot so I know the difference. The sandwishes weren't fresh, they were some supermarket pre-baked ones. Orange juice was awful, some sirop with water. I noticed this when I filled up, first orange liquid and then water followed... The coffee wasn't good either, my spoon almost disappeared in it... January 26, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Modern property in a quiet location Hotel is modern, well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness could be improved for 5*, like most hotels there were a few marks on the chair seats and even though I used a coffee cup and spoon they were wiped with a cloth (hopefully a clean one) and put back on the tray - there were the same stains in and around the cup and spoon. The walls are a little thin, the first night the neighbours were up all night talking and watching TV - even with ear plugs it kept me awake, but after that it was the usual comings and goings in the hallway with doors closing. It's really a town trip for food, but the bus/taxis are fine. Food delivery is mainly from catering outfits, but the food was fine for those rare occurrences. The bed mattress was of basic quality but did the job. I'm not sure if the airconditioning was switched on, but the temperature was fine. All in all, an acceptable stay. January 20, 2016
