The hotel needs improvement on their breakfast. The scrambled egg is awful. I see a lot of people throwing their scrambled egg because of being "watery". They need to improve their shuttle to and from union station. The list is useless because people can just get on the shuttle even though they are not on the list thus displacing people who are supposed to be on the list

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by norris6201 very clean hotel, friendly staff, so so on the neighborhood/location
Very nice and clean hotel! It's located in a rough part of town but there were really not that many issues related to location other than the 15 min. Commute to Union Station, slightly inconvenient but a nice shuttle ride provided by the hotel made up for that :) and the occasional red and blue flashing lights of cop cars but you can get that anywhere I suppose.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were kept very very clean. Thanks for a great experience !

It's OK. It's a HIE. Enough said. There are a couple of hotels near by but the price on those is ridiculous. This is not the best part of town but the hotel is fine.

The location is a bit outside of the main DC attractions, but there is a regular shuttle service in the morning and evening to get you to Union Station and then back home at night. Mr. O'Dell will make sure you are on the shuttle doesn't leave without you, so tell him "Hi"! (And if the shuttle doesn't work, it's a $15-20 cab ride to most attractions.) From Union Station, you can hop on the metro and get to all the attractions. The breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day - large variety of hot and cold foods, everything was fresh and tasty. It would have easily cost over $10-15 per person to get this kind of breakfast at a restaurant. The beds were comfortable with a good combination of firm and soft pillows. I would definitely consider staying here again.
