I booked this hotel as a member of IHG rewards and when I checked in I saw the daily rate was 70 CHF less than my reserved price: I reserved months before the Swiss Franc was revalued and became stronger against the dollar. I complained and was told the daily rate changes. Yes, the next day the room rate was 40 CHF less than I was paying. As an IHG rewards member I am suppose to get the best rate. Well, I got the worse rate.
In addition, I was put on a priority floor and found brown mildew all across the bottom of the shower curtain along with a large oval brown spot. I told reception about it.
This location is not as clean as Geneva airport and the view of construction was disappointing.
The staff was helpful in giving directions to the tram but again would do nothing about my room rate.
I will never book in advance or at least will check the rate the day before free cancellation to ensure that I am not paying nearly twice as much as others.

Close to the airport with easy access. Affordable and worth the money. Easy to get into town.

Frühstück ab 04:00 ist eine sehr gute Idee.
Transport zum Flughafen ab 05:00 super.

I travel Internationally a great deal (every other week) and I'm a Platinum within IHG. I would say this hotel is average for the Holiday Inn portion of IHG expect a level below only due to staff. I arrived and had a normal check-in. I had a critical phone call within the hour and had to log onto the hotel's internet. I tried for over 30 minutes and called to the front desk which I was promtly told it was my computer not their internet. I told them that the "push to accept and connect" would not highlight so I could select it the only option was to pay. Again she told me my issue not theirs. I contacted my IT service and they said no issues it has to be the hotels. I went down and the IT manager happened to be there, realized it was in fact their system and put a ticket out. Its terrible I have to come to the front desk to not be called "the problem". Next I spent the last 20 minutes before I could sleep trying to call the front desk to organise a wake up call, no answer. I went to front desk, no one was there! Ridiculous. I told the front desk the next morning and again another excuse "they were so busy" which I said no I came down no one was there. Again they did not care. I asked for a manager, told no one available.
So my review: Stay #bed's comfortable and shuttle 11-13 minutes# but dont if you have to have any contact with the front desk!

Very nice big windows in the room that give you a nice view, and surprisingly quiet even though the hotel is just beside the airport.
