I had requested an airport-based hotel, i.e. within walking distance, via my travel agent. It was only upon arrival that this trip would prove to be ill-fated, when the Zurich airport information desk told me that it wasn't within walking distance and a hotel bus was necessary. I then learned that I had just missed it and would need to wait an hour for the next.
Upon arrival, the IHG priority reception desk was unmanned which resulted in myself being last in line to register. As it was approaching 11pm the only hot meal available was a pizza, which was of poor quality (as were the scrambled eggs at breakfast).
Meanwhile, wishing to work from my room I found that there were technical problems with the internet which lasted until my checkout the following day.
After checking out, I asked if the restaurant was open (as no one was in there) for lunch, however, the receptionist recommended an italian restaurant 200 metres away!
All in all, a disastrous experience and a hotel that I shall be avoiding on my next visit to Zurich. However, I still have faith in the IHG brand and have already made my next IHG reservations elsewhere.

The visit itself was good with a clean, quiet room and good service. But this survey is too longj.
