This was a very nice HI Express. We have only stayed at one [a little bit] better..., near Harrisburg, PA, it was brand new. Bright, high-ceiling pool area. Breakfast area is top notch. DirecTV in rooms is a plus!

Recently booked a 5-night stay. Was quoted one rate at time of booking, but at checkout I was charged well over the quoted price for 2/5 nights. Desk clerk refused to give me the quoted price even though I had my reservation booking confirmation receipt. There was one day where the maid service did not make my room at all. I had a blown lamp in my room that needed to be replaced. As well as a blown fuse that kept resetting itself during my entire stay, which constantly reset the TV, microwave, and a/c unit. I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. But the bed was comfortable.

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn's and this was below average. The bed was old and you could feel the springs when you moved. There was no mattress padding. The bed had a top sheet, very thin blanket, and then another top sheet. We were very cold due to the lack of quality bedding. We did go to the front desk and ask for another blanket and was given a small thin blanket. We had a king size bed and the blanket was only big enough to cover the one side of the bed. When asking for an extra pillow it seemed like the front desk person was put out by my request. We were given an extra pillow but it was for a small child and we were told that is all she could find in housekeeping. The price is more than the other Holiday Inn's we have stayed at and the quality is terrible.

staff was completely unresponsive to 3 calls regarding a pillow we left in the room. We really wanted the pillow case as it was a heavy cotton matching of course another pillow to our bed at home.

Loved everything about this HIE..only complaint is no fridge or microwaves in the rooms. The rooms are plenty big enough to add these without crowding the room. I was only here overnight, so it wasn't a problem, but I travel for work
