Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best HI Expresses! This is one of the most efficient and professionally run Holiday Inn expresses... (Only HIE Cape town beats it for service!!). It was my 52nd night this year at an IHG property and everything was perfect. Though a little out of the centre, its perfectly located for the Airport and getting to downtown. Staff at reception were ultra friendly, well groomed and eager to make sure everything met our needs... (they even recognised my colleagues birthday with a bonus drinks voucher!). The room was clean and well laid out with a good bathroom. The beds were spotless and comfortable and there was no ambient noise. The reception area was in library style with a good selection of books and relaxing couches. Breakfast was good with standard continental buffet selection. Check out was also efficient and friendly and the staff doubled as tourist agents with information on almost all systems of transport and info on what to do and see. 14 December 2014

Breakfast choices were good, especially as being an Englishman, used to obligitory cooked breakfast. Slight difficulty in locating the hotel, as no signage to it from the station, although station is only about 100 mtrs from it 12 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 3 night stay Great hotel, well situated for a visit to Amsterdam. 2 stops from the airport and 1 stop from Amsterdam central. The hotel is literally on the station. We travelled into the centre by train each day, but there are bus and tram options. Reception and breakfast staff were excellent, the room service staff not so. the soap dispenser in the shower did not work and when we ran out of soap on the wash basin it did not get refilled, even though it was left open to show it was empty. Someone simply closed it up. The reception staff came to our rescue. Overall a nice stay and would certainly consider staying there again. 09 December 2014
