The breakfast was exemplary, much better than other HIEs and in fact better than many Holiday inns I have used! Staff very good, helpful and friendly! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Holiday Inn Express Holiday Inn Express hotels are usually OK but the Antrim one is an exception as it could not be faulted. It is well run, spotlessly clean, well maintained with friendly helpful staff. There is a large breakfast room for eating the full Northern Irish breakfast (not the normal HIX continental fare). The hotel serves a limited evening menu but there is a good restaurant next door with other choices in Antrim itself. Recommended if you are looking for a room in Antrim vicinity. 21 May 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing staff I stayed here with my family for the weekend and thouroughly enjoyed it. It was an extremely busy weekend, with the big bike race on, but you would never realise this by the staff. They were totally professional and friendly. You were made feel like you were the only person staying in the hotel with the level of attention that they gave you. There was a manager (didn't get her name) working Friday and Saturday who could not do enough for us and Leanne on the desk was brilliant. The food was fab and there was lots of it, we ate there both nights and had breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, it was a great base to tour around from and should I find myself up that part of the country again I will definitely be staying there 12 May 2014

Staff was very attentive to our needs, indeed taking a personal interest in our activities and offering helpful answers to our questions. The location near Junction One was handy and provided opportunities to explore stores and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay. 03 April 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home from Home I stay at many IHG hotels and have to say that this is one of the best for overall hospitality and friendliness - The staff 'go that extra mile' for their customers and create such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, you actually look forward to getting back to the hotel and because you are looked after so well, you don't want to venture out and eat elsewhere. Chef creates great wholesome grub and the guys are so attentive you don't need to chase for anything, it comes to you! The staff are a huge asset and personalise everything - Other hotels could learn loads from these guys! 18 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great time for everyone This is our third time at the Holiday Inn Antrim and would recommend it to anyone, groups, couples and families. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and you can eat as much as you like. The rooms are spotless and spacious with everything you need including free wifi. We spent an evening with friends in the reception bar and had a lovely relaxing time. We will continue to stay in this hotel when we are visiting Antrim. 13 March 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shopping trip to Ballymena Stayed in Holiday Inn and was pleasantly surprised by lay out of foyer, quality of rooms and spacious car park. This is certainly a "value for money hotel" .... Room was spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, fresh fruit , range of cereals, breads and cooked foods , well presented and attended to as required. Will return and would recommend it without reservation ,,,,if you will pardon the pun!! 30 January 2014

There was continental breakfast as the kitchen was closed during Christmas but it was lovely and definitely efficient. I could not fault this hotel in anyway. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 No cooked breakfast! Stayed here on 30th Dec 2013, the aim was to avoid an early rise for our flight the next morning....big mistake! Firstly we were woken at 4.20am with the thumping and slamming of doors which continued for 40 mins when my husband went to find a staff member. Whilst I understand people need early starts for flights, this was out of hand, guests must have been running between rooms, it would have been quieter on the M2! Secondly breakfast was described as full breakfast, this was far from the case, no cooked food was available that morning at all, I have my suspicion it was something to do with the 2 coach loads of guests staying.Thirdly we did not have time to speak to reception about or stay as we had to get to the airport, so I emailed later that day...5 days later and no reply! Customer service is obviously not important. 05 January 2014

They were so kind to offer above and beyond the standard service. The reception are was very clean and looked lovely with all the Christmas trees. We all enjoyed the breakfast, there was plenty to choose from from the self service, that area was also nice + clean, and festive. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Property/Bad Room This is a great property from it's location and the friendly staff. Unfortunately our room was right next to the housekeeping closet and for whatever the reason, staff was going in and out of the closet throughout the evening and into the morning hours causing alot of noise including slamming of the doors. Obviously this did not make for a good night's sleep. I did say something to the front desk the next morning and suggested they keep this room for the last one to be booked in the future in order for guests to not go through what we experienced. Sadly, they did not offer a credit to the room charge - just a simple but nice apology. I would most definitely stay at this property again for the value, quality and location. I would just make sure to ask for a quiet room. 12 December 2013
