Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Moderate at best I was not pleased with the overall experience. The first room was dirty and we were DOWNgraded to a different room. Breakfast ended at 9:30, the indoor pool was cold in November??? The towels in the pool area were basically hand towels. The fitness area only had one working machine. For the price I was highly disappointed.. 17 November 2014

The pillows were oh so soft and the bed was so very comfortable. The price was excellent and I can't say enough about how great my stay was here. Thanks! 16 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It was great until..... Everything about the stay was great. The facilities are wonderful, the staff is great and it's close to a lot of restaurants. I only had one issue and that was the cockroach in the nightstand. The staff moved me upon request to another area of the building and I believe sprayed the room. This is not an indictment of the condition of the hotel, they show up in the cleanest of places. This is more a beware of your surroundings statement. It is close to a highway and not far from water sources, this makes them more common. Otherwise great hotel. 15 November 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed the room was nice however I don't think the housekeeping staff appreciated a couple of request that I made. The breakfast was ok, but the tables were dirty and the food selection was low to completely out. I think for this price, whatever they have on the menu should be available to guest, since most guest don't eat breakfast anyway. 13 November 2014

We are members of the IHG rewards club and chose Holiday Inn Express. We found this to be one of the best overnight experiences that we have ever had. From the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, attractive lobby and breakfast area, and great value - it all added up to our resolve to continue our journey with your hotel. 05 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Augusta Gem This was not my first visit to this hotel and it was nice to find they had added a gluten-free bread choice on the breakfast bar. The only criticism I could make about this hotel, and most hotels in general, is their use of the CFL (low wattage) bulbs in their rooms now. Especially in the bathrooms where you sometimes need more light for putting on makeup or shaving. I have actually immediately checked out of hotels that have nothing but those very low wattage bulbs in a room because it is so dark you can't even read a book!!! This hotel did offer a 4 cup coffeemaker, which is a bonus compared to many locations now. I absolutely HATE the little one-cup machines many are going to and carry my own 5-cup pot with me now because of that. Other than the lighting issues, I would highly recommend this hotel Great location with easy access, friendly staff and very clean 04 November 2014
