A comfortably bed and pillow and obedient air conditioning made stay overall most enjoyable and the bonus a great variety of breakfast choices. Functionality at a very high standard. Staff were busy but never too busy to be helpful. Would stay there again or at any other Holiday Inn Express. You would be aware of the standard to expect. It was spotless both in the lobby area and the bedrooms. Standard high for an affordable price. Would recommend to friends no problem. 19 November 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff, ask front desk to change bed sheets Hotel location was good and clean. Bad point’s: Elevator needed servicing. it was noisy and somewhat slow to respond to inputs. I stayed for four days. the bed sheets were not changed and when I enquired why the bed sheets were not changed I was told this was a company policy and I should had informed the reception that I wanted the sheets changed. There was no chef available to prepare diner, all the hotel could offer was heated pizza and takeaway menus. 10 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel for location, just not with four people We were able to walk to most attractions in Bath from the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were designed for two people but we stayed with two children as well. A pull out bed was provided which took up the rest of the room and blocked the desk and chair. The lift was a bit clunky and went out of service at on ride up to our room. 09 November 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by very comfortable bed and perfect pillows me and my friend visited Bath Thermae Spa, stayed just 1 night in hotel, but were really satisfied of the hotel. very nice , clean and cosy room with very good beds and pillows. not far from city centre, staff very welcome and friendly. a bit disappointment- breakfast... 05 November 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely hotel.....but let down hugely by poorly trained, uninterested and unprofessional staff Your hotel is LOVELY. very clean.....(a little over priced....but I understand that Bath is expensive so I didn't mind.....as I knew the "holiday inn standard". Which I like and this hotel....mostly lived up to that. However........being from a hospitality managerial background....a HUGE gripe of mine is staff who don't pay attention to customers/ don't notice them....and instead find other things to do but serve customers. I visited the bar area to get a drink......one girl was counting cash.....another writing on a note pad in office.....then another 2 members of staff arrived....and all four proceeded to the back to "chit chat" . This I may add was after several of them looked at me standing there waiting to be served....then ignored me...looked away and continued to go attend their "group chit chat". It was till I abruptly said in a stern tone......"IS ANYONE GOING TO BOTHER SERVING ME? I've been stood here for 5 mins!" Then the gentlemen on duty....whome I assume was in charge, appeared round the corner, somewhat confused as to why I was n Ignored and said sorry and served me. (No complaint against him....as he served me the second he saw me). But the other 4 members of staff (all female( just looked at me.....and continued walking away). I'm sorry but the way I was trained.......customers come first. Save you're idol chit chat till AFTER your shift. NEVER ignore a customer in preference to group chit chat with other colleges. I honestl pay feel these staff need re trained, as they don't seem interested in the job as much as they should. Totally appauling service. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. I would return, but I hope when I do, the staff are aware of what is required of them. Customers first, chit chat....later 03 November 2014
