Due to business reason, I had to stay one night in Benicia area. I went to this hotel and the Front desk MS Dulce was really helpful, she anwsered all my questions and introduced many things which was helpful to me. Moreover, when I asked if there's a laundry service could take care of my dirty overall, she told me that the guest laundry machine was not working that time, but she asked me to give her my overall and specially had it washed using other washing machine, and returned to me in very short time.
I'm really appreciated MS Dulce's wonderful service, and so happy staying at your hotel!

Fairly quick check-in and good location relative to where I need to go in Bay Area. Staff are always courteous and room was clean, comfortable, and better than I often see at other Holiday Express locations in Calif. Staff are long-term employees which is a good thing in this case.

i had a room down the hall from me that had several people gathered in it that made a lot of noise pasy 11 pm. I called the front desk twice and ask for them to do something. Nothing changed and I called a third time and noone answered. I tried again a few minutes later and no answer. I had to turn my TV volume up loud to offsett he noise. Things got quiet just past midnight.

Close to a night spot. Clean and comfortable. Good service and friendly and attentive staff. I would recommend this hotel to any staying in the Northern California area, or any area for that matter.

My family of four stayed here for three nights and loved it, for the most part. A gave 4/5 overall simply due to some minor misshaps that seemed to stack up.
SLEEP: Bed was great and soft. We slept very well until the trash came. At lesat I assume that is what it was. Given it is a smaller location in a residential area, tight spaces and lots of homes put us right above the large and loud trash man and all the bang and beeps that came with it. But, that was only one night.
ROOM COMFORT: We had a 2 room suite that was perfect for us and our two kids. They had one room and we had the other. Both had bed, chair, tv, fan and microwave. So, other than sharing the bathroom it was perfect for two couples or those prefering two bathrooms.
STAFF: The staff had a language barrier and seemed more reserved or lacking confidence. However, they did all they could to help as best they could. I wasn't "recognized" as a "member". But, it isn't a big deal. It is nice and fun to be "acknowledged", and it is what they are supposed to do. But, it is not what I look for. That said, the bonus points or even the water and snack would have been nice when I checked in. Regardless, we didn't lack for much at all. As a small location there was only 2 on staff when we arrived and during the week days. One cleaning and one running the desk and the food. So, things didn't happen as quick. But, they did have a first for me. I could text a local number that was for the "On Call" person and they would respond and help. They even offered to bring me TUMS at 3:30 in the morning.
ROOM CLEANLINESS: This was great when it happened. We were missed twice for romm service. We were gone all day and came back to a dirty room. They offered to fix it, but we were already settled and the kids were sleeping. If I had needed towels or anything they would have helped. It was simply an oversight, it seems.
SERVICE: The services were very good, for what I needed. They had a small fitness room that was close to my room. The underground parking was convenient and simple to navigate. The stairs were a little weird, as some went outside and some went inside. I ended up outside once trying to get back to my room from the second floor where the only ice machine was. My largest complaint in this list of trvial items was the food was not as fresh as I would have expected. Biscuits were hard, "Hot" water wasn't plugged in and cold and the gravy was not very attractive with a thick layer of skin on. However, I think the first two days we were the only guests. So, it was out at 0600 and I didn't get there until 0900. But, that is a guess. HOWEVER.....they did have the pancake machine. It only spits one out at a time...but it was cool and they were hot and good. The assortment was nice. And Saturday morning everything was fresh and hot.....save the cold water.
VALUE: Great. I was using points and felt like a king
MEMORABLE: It was a great family vacation for a family that doesn't get to do it as much as they would like.
ALL_IN_ALL: I would recommend the property. It was easy to find, in a nice spot, had very nice rooms and offered a good meal. If a place to relax, sleep and eat breakfast is what you want this is a Holiday Inn Express you can bank on. We liked it.

I stay at this hotel when I am traveling in the bay area and want to spend a day in San Francisco. This hotel is much less expensive than SF hotels, and you can drive a short distance down I-80 to a convenient BART station.

Excellent hotel with good help but the desk clerk took her some break in the indoor parking lot and caused discomfort for several people who are allergic to smoke
