Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good experience It's a HI Express so of course not a luxury hotel. Nevertheless it has everything that is, at least for me, required for a comfortable stay. Clean, reasonably spacious room, breakfast a bit basic but ok. As platinum member i also received a voucher for a drink and a pack of crisp at the bar next to the lobby. Overall, a good experience, especially given that i booked it as a points break night for only 5000 points. 20 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by room with a view arrived at snow hill station and the weather was not good so very pleased the hotel was a short walk from the station. check in was fast and we were asked which floor we would like to stay. we chose 19th which had excellent views across city centre. room was comfortable with lovely shower. bed very good with different types of pillows. good nights sleep no noise. breakfast was ok but could be improved just by adding a few items such as bacon and mushrooms but was adequate all in all enjoyable stay and would reccomend 13 December 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst stay at any Holiday Inn l have had we booked the hotel rang from centre of Birmingham for directions Daniel was not able to help us sent us totally wrong way round Checked in and room only had one little pot of milk for 2 people!! the door had no chain to secure it Breakfast consisted of cold scrambled egg and luke warm sausage - terrible choice we ended up eating else where Spoke to Manager on check out - not helpful at all advised to contact Hotel Manager she said if we return hotel may be able to do something for us dont think there is a hope of that happening once bitten twice shy Noone frm hotel group even borthered to contact us shows they are not bothered lm afraid l know we were not theonly ones complaining in reception when we spoke to the duty manager 12 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient I used this hotel when attending a concert at the NIA which is about a 20 minute walk away. It is convenient also for Birmingham city centre and both New Street and Snow Hill stations. Although on a main road I was on the 10th floor and had no problems with traffic noise. The room was quite spacious and the bathroom had just a shower. As with all HIE hotels breakfast was limited in respect of hot items but it is what it is. 11 December 2014
