Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value & Good Servive Front desk was very positive, from the manager & all on the front desk. Great cookies (incl. oatmeal raisin for me & cc for my bride). This is an older unit but well maintained & updated. We were using as a base for two days & I would recommend!! You have to pay attention to find but was restful & relaxing. Also has a good "Perkin's" restaurant within easy walking distance. 26 February 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great plan B - Holiday Inn is stepping up on service and facilities We were unable to get a room at the hotel across the parking lot from this HI - which worked out great for us. This HI is so much nicer than the place we stayed last year. Thanks to the two wonderful young ladies at the front desk for working to get us a room for the week. They went above and beyond in customer service. They also helped out with info on local places we asked about. They also helped us find a wonderful HI to stay in on our return trip home. 16 February 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable & Convenient During our five days, two issues occurred which were unacceptable to us; and not what we'd expect from a Holiday Inn Express. So we were surprised and upset when these situations happened. In sharing our concerns with the manager, we found her to be very approachable, a good listener, not at all defensive, and very fair. So by the time we left, we were completely satisfied. We were pleased with the manager in charge. 11 February 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best value in the Bonita Springs area, very convenient, too. Good value when compared to the other over-priced lodging. Clean rooms, very good housekeeping service. Continental breakfast way beyond adequate, and very inviting and convenient. Hotel was busy, but not crowded, even though is was prime snowbird season (parking lot full every night). Very nice pool. We'll stay there again whenever we return. 11 February 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn the entire property needs to be overhauled. The hallways and elevator smelled terrible. The TV did not work for several days and remote was broken. When I said something at the front desk about the TV she said it had not worked for several days and they were waiting for the cable guy to come.The elevator took 10 to 15 minutes to come and then stopped working all together. We were on the 4th floor and had to walk up and down stairs. There were holes in the wall in our room where something was taken down and never repaired. There were holes in the cabinet that something had been screwed down and never repaired. We went to relax and have a vacation, the first morning there we put the do not disturb sign out and the maintenance guy kept calling the room and beating on the door at 8 am. He said he did not speak english when I finally opened the door. He said he came to fix the remote that I had asked several times at the front desk to be fixed. I finally took the remote to the front desk and exchanged it myself, but no one told him. I went to the front desk and said we had do not disturb sign out and he kept beating on the door. They said they would explain to him what that meant. We arrived a little early for check in because we had been up since 3 am to catch our flight and came early to hotel. The front desk clerk said it would be 1 1/2 hours until our room would be ready. We left and came back 3 hours later and she said that no rooms were ready yet. We did not get into our room until after 430. I would never recommend this hotel or ever stay there again. The people at the front desk were not helpful at all. I am not sure why the room was priced the way it was? Way over priced, we have stayed and brand new top of line Holiday Inn and they were not priced that high. 05 February 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and clean We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express because we were in town for a soccer tournament. Because there were many young soccer players' families staying at the hotel that night, and our room was right off the lobby, we expected a certain amount of noise and rowdiness. However, we were very pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. The management seemed to have kept things well under control. We didn't hear a peep after 10pm. The only noise was from the elevator which happened to be adjacent to our first floor room, but that is quite understandable - if we had been one door down, doubt we would have heard anything. Also, the desk staff was very helpful, and polite. We would definitely stay here the next time we are in the area! 29 January 2014

Layout of the hotel made checking in and out difficult. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for business travelers such as myself. 27 January 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by POOR EXPERIENCE AFTER A COUPLE OF SUPER DAYS AT THE MARATHON LOCATION, WE KNEW FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED INTO THE BONITA SPRINGS LOCATION WE HAD MADE A MISTAKE.WITH A POOR CHECK IN EXPERIENCE & EVEN THOUGH WE CHECKED OUT 4 DAYS AGO INCORRECT CHARGES ON THE CC STILL REMAIN, DESPITE ALL THE ASSURANCES GIVEN THESE WOULD DISAPPEAR. THE HOTEL IS OVERALL “TIRED” & NEEDS A REFRESHER. 17 January 2014

The small breakfast area was packed on the weekends with youth soccer teams staying there. Location is convenient to US 41 restaurants and only minutes away from the interstate. I am currently staying in another Holiday Inn property and have had a wonderful experience in Santee, South Carolina. Your staff, the housekeeping, noise factor, and cleanliness were way below par. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rundown and filthy! I stay in hotels approximately 100 nights a year and this hands down was one of the filthiest, most run down properties I've stayed in a couple if years. The carpet in all parts of the hotel reminded me of my old frat house carpet. The bathroom in my room was disgusting. I was originally supposed to stay two nights and I checked out early. I've stayed at Hotels with a rate of 59.99 that are cleaner than this. The front desk staff was polite which was the only good thing about this hotel. Great people (staff) always attentive to customer needs. Recommend this hotel to anyone especially friends and acquaintances. By the way, this is my first review, I normally stay away from this type of thing but the hotel staff and management should be commended for their professional and yet personal business work effort. 08 January 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by relaxing time with our dog This is the second time we've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express with our dog. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They answered all my questions with professionalism and a smile. The room was clean and spacious with two queen beds and plenty of room for our pet. The complimentary breakfast is very good and my wife loves the cinnamon rolls. I enjoy the eggs and orange juice. If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel in Bonita Springs which is close to the beach and Naples and Fort Myers at a reasonable price, I think you would enjoy this. 03 January 2014

The daytime manager could use a little people skills. She treated us like we worked for her? the blonde lady that took her off duty was super nice. It's a great chain restaurant and great for families with its an all-you-can-eat buffet. Prices good and food excellent. Also, not far from Mel's Diners Restaurant, serving homemade food with fast, at prices everyone can afford. Old-Fashioned Home-Cooked Favorites, Signature Sandwiches, Famous Burgers, Mel's Diner Sensational Salads and our All You Can Eat Fish Fry. homemade meat loaf, roast turkeys, hand-patty famous burgers, hand-dip the ice cream for milkshakes, smoked baby-back ribs, hand-breaded fish, make mile-high pies and serve daily blue plates. Free breakfast at the hotel starting at 6:30 with eggs, sausage, juices, coffees, apples, bananas, pastries, cereals and oatmeal. Free paper, local and USA Today. 29 November 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Older Hotel Our room had an unpleasant odor. This HI could use some fresh paint and remodeling. The elevator made loud moaning and groaning noises which gives one an uneasy feeling. Parking was inconvenient. There is a small lot at the front of the building which is supplemented by ample parking at the rear. Unfortunately, you have to drive out onto the streets to get from one to the other. Also, the only access to the building from the rear lot is through the breakfast area. 25 November 2013

I would settle in at night and tried to watch a couple of programs streaming from my laptop, and just couldn't. With technology today people travel with their TV shows on their laptop and it was just disappointing. 09 November 2013
