Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service - Rooms need updating We were booked in here for a hockey tournament - the cost for two nights - unable to cancel the second night upon check in. Requests were not met for a wing of rooms - however they booked in other guests on the same floor after we had checked in ?? Rooms need updating - you couldn't turn the bathroom lights on without the noisy fan coming on with them. The black out blinds only came 1/2 was across the window .. so what's the point of having them at all? The eggs were awful .. I didn't know you could purchase powdered eggs! The staff was amazing (expecially the security guard) who sympathized with us when we were told multiple times to keep quiet .. hence asking for a block/wing of rooms to ourselves, as we are louder than the average customer. I had even requested a conference room - to which we would pay for .. they didn't have any! Not recomended for team gatherings. 19 November 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Hotel, Nice Guest Rooms. The hotel met my needs of finding accommodations. It was a clean facility with nice guest rooms. All amenities were there. The only thing I would request would be a softer mattress. Perhaps this accommodation could have been arranged during booking. However, I was checking in at 10.00pm and needed to go straight to sleep. I would stay at this hotel again. 10 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by When Needed... The Clarington-Bowmanville HI was there when we needed them. Called at 6:30 am to get a room after staying at another hotel which was totally not acceptable. My husband has Parkinson's and it was absolutely necessary to move him to more comfortable quarters. The hotel clerk was kind and considerate and had us checking in around 7 am. The staff for our 3 day stay were also kind and helpful. The room was clean, neat and up to date. Beds were very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Everything about the hotel was top notch including the breakfast area and especially the food. Would recommend this establishment to everyone. 08 November 2014
