most rental properties on anna maria island have to be booked for a week, if you want to enjoy the beach, watch the sunset, then get up early enjoy the beach some more then get back to the hotel and shower before check out, and 2 hour drive home, this hotel is perfect, DeAndre at the front desk was awesome, i had a special request and he saved the day

We stayed a week and enjoyed the hotel. The Free Breakfast had a good variety and fruit too for a healthier choice. The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. We had a room by the pool great location and the room was standard but nice. Best feature the refrigerator. It would have been better with a microwave. The only problem was our bathroom light above the sink worked only when it wanted to. The clerk offered to have it looked at or move us but we liked our room and declined service as we just wanted to relax and enjoy.

This is in a great location, lots of shops and restaurants very close by. Not too far from the beach either. (a few minutes by car)

Checked in to a disgusting poolside room that wreaked of fish, had what I hope was pizza sauce stains above the bed, and something else splattered all over the wall by the door.
Poolside room would have been great but poor sliding door quality meant ridiculously loud and not at all relaxing.
Mold and mildew in bathroom.
We stayed because we were exhausted and the front desk gentlemen did seem genuine in wanting to help us though he didn't have another room for us.
The kicker was that I left my bag on Saturday morning hanging behind the bathroom door. Got 5 hours away and called when I realized it. Girl that answer said she couldn't help, didn't have a key, call back tomorrow. Called Sunday, "no, we don't have anything like that, sorry." Called again Monday to check with housekeeping staff - never saw it. Have now left 3 messages for the Manager and not received a call back. It's been 11 days. It seems perhaps someone would prefer to keep my jewelry and my medication rather than to admit to finding the bag. (Note, we went straight from hotel to car right outside the door, made no other stops.)

I was in town for a business trip. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 3 nights and 4 days. I felt like I was at home. Thanks for the wonderful experience

Can't say enough about the Front Desk Staff, they were courteous, friendly and helpful with questions had.
Breakfast was great nice variety of food with the Kitchen Staff re-stocking items quickly.
Room was neat, clean and comfortable with an excellent rate.

need to spray for ants they are everywhere , can't even sit a coke down for two hours they are in it ! and replace matress, great staff , fun pool to swim and sit around and relax.

Probably the worst Holiday Inn Express that I've stayed at in the last 3 years. Doesn't even come close to what a Holiday Inn Express should be. Having a newish lobby doesn't make it a nice property and doesn't make up for the poor room quality. The hotel is in major need of a renovation or needs to be kicked out of IHG.
-The room had a giant crack in the ceiling that had recently been patched but not painted.
- Peeling wallpaper and many dents.
- No refrigerator. First HI Express that hasn't had one.
- The worst part are the windows that face the pool area. The single pane windows are probably from 1980 and don't insulate or reduce the sound from outside at all. So forget it being quiet until about 11pm.
- The elevator was broken.
- Ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken
- Bed had a poor quality memory foam topper to try to cover up the really old mattress..
- It was insulting to get the slip with the checkout bill stating that we should rate the hotel a 10.
The staff was fine and nice, but I wouldn't recommended this hotel or stay here again.
