Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent hotel and warm welcome, as always. We always get a warm welcome at this excellent hotel situated closed to Freeport Shopping Centre and Braintree, and less than 30 minutes from Stansted Airport. We shall certainly come back again soon. 09 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent All of the staff were very helpfull, nothing was too much for them whatever time of day it was. Small choice of hot food at breakfast if you are leaving at 06:00 in the morning but, otherwise would recommend very much.Will be stopping again. 08 December 2014

Breakfast disappointing - hot choice dry scrambled egg (assume it was from a powdered egg mix?), sausages shrivelled and tasteless. If a hot breakfast is offered make a good one or don't bother! 27 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Surprised I have to say i was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was only an overnight stay but i found everything very comfortable and clean. The staff were also very nice, helpful and friendly. It is the first time i have stayed in one of these hotels but i would have no hesitation in booking one in the future. The value for money is excellent. Only one slight negative would have to be the breakfast, not the worst but not the best breakfast i have had, if i had to sum it up it would only be average. I understand that for the price it's not going to be 5 star. 27 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by From the 3 in room 3 We booked this hotel for a Friday night stop over for shopping. We was welcomed by a very friendly lady Sarah, she checked us in which was smooth and easy. Explained the bar rules - card swipe and on the room after 10.30pm, showed us the Toby restaurant which was walking distance from the hotel. Sarah and another lady (sorry I can't recall her name) looked after us, kept our wine flowing and was chatty, friendly and welcoming. Answered all our very important questions about shopping. There was a 'troublesome' group staying the same night HOWEVER we was not aware of this at all and it was kept very undercountrol by the night staff. We will be visiting again once we have saved up for the shopping again next year. Sarah should be advised of our thanks and our recommendation for a pay rise thank you again and look forward to the possible bacon introduction next years breakfast, with thanks the 3 of us in room 3 Katie, Chrissy aka Mum and Nikki P.S pillows so much better than P Inn 26 November 2014
