Staff were very helpful and friendly and told us all about Bristol, which is where we visited next. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. I would recommend this hotel, and hope to stay again, 28 July 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What More Could You Ask For hotel was easy to find,ample parking,received a warm friendly welcome from the staff at the front desk.knowledgeable staff pointed out where everything was.downstairs lobby area clean and tidy as was bar area etc.rooms were clean and well kept.beds very comfy and a pleasant nights sleep, the showers are amazing.breakfast was very nice and certainly filled me up for the day ahead.not sure what else i can say apart from a very enjoyable stay and will certainly be returning and would definitely recommend to anyone else looking for a nice place to stay. 26 July 2013

The nearby pub/restaurant serves good food, but breakfast in the hotel is a severe let-down. The cooked food choice consists of indifferent scrambled egg, sausages and baked beans. The layout of self-service for tea/coffee and fruit juice guarantees that people have to move back and forth, getting in each other's way. My room was well appointed and clean, with a choice of pillow firmness. The air conditioning was much appreciated to ensure a good nights sleep in the recent very hot weather. WiFi is an essential these days and the free service was satisfactory for my needs. Staff were very helpful and attentive 24 July 2013

The great benefit in this really hot weather is the air conditioning. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The pub next door does good food and has a garden so able to enjoy the sunshine in the evening 14 July 2013

This is the second Holiday Inn Express that we've stayed at, and at both we've felt that they were good value for money especially as breakfast was included in the price. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet hotel, fantastic nights sleep. We asked for a top floor and was accommodated with our request. The room was very clean with excellent facilities. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcomed. The hotel was lovely and quiet and we had a really good nights sleep. The choices at breakfast were excellent and the food was of a very high standard. I would definitely book into Holiday Inn Express again as my first choice of hotel. 19 June 2013

Room was spotless and very comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean and spacious. Peaceful room with everything I needed even a choice of soft or firm pillows! black out curtains are a nice touch too. 08 June 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff very friendly and helpful Good room although no bath, shower only, comfortable bed. We feel the quality of the breakfasts could be improved and the layout of the food in a more logical order. We suggest the fruit juices and cereals need to be at the beginning of the food layout with the grapefruit and yogurts, together and not on different sides of the room. Followed by the toaster then the cooked food. 26 May 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brilliant stay My husband and I were meeting up family staying at the hotel. We arrived early ay 10.30 am and they checked us in there and then. One small hiccup was the room key did not want to work but the reception staff were brilliant in sorting it out. Room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The price was very good. Would definately stay again. The hotel staff were very helpful. 26 April 2013

Didn't realise it was a free breakfast which was an added bonus and was very nice apart from no bacon but cant complain because everything else was spot on : ). was situated in a great place not too far from shopping or town centre for nightlife. The shower was so good and bathroom very clean. Cant stress enough how great the staff were nothing was too much trouble for them the best hotel/motel iv stayed in for a very long time, made our weekend away even more awesome. thanks again : ) : ) 12 April 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by room not cleaned or beds made up during our 2 day stay 23rd to 25th March we have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express a number of times over the past two years with no complaints. Firstly on our last visit, on arrival staff unaware that we were priorty club members as the member of staff had to search for our details. secondly having returned from a day out we found that our room had not been serviced. I quried this with the female member of staff on reception. she was very helpful and apoligetic offering us a change of room if we required and a complementry drink which was excepted. We could not fault the staff. One suggestion to make why not have some rooms with bigger beds . I am 6,5" and my wife is 6'1" so we find it diffecult at times in a standard double bed. I would certainly pay a small supplement a larger bed if offered. On the whole great service aprt from a small blip but have already booked again to stay in a few weeks time. 27 March 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Consistent efficient service I've stayed in Holiday Inn Express several times lately and found the service excellent each time. The staff seem to process registration and check out relatively easily. It's pleasant to always be greeted with a smile each time I walk through reception. They were very good in helping to sort out the details of my Priority Club membership by contacting the administrators directly. There's quite a range of food at breakfast, and a variation on scrambled eggs would be good, but it is a good price and comfortable. I do like having the sofa and the desk which are provided in every room. 21 February 2013

It would make a more relaxing stay if free Internet access is not limited to 1 hour in the room. Breakfast is generally ok, but scramble egg is cold and tasteless. My husband is completely wheelchair bound and finding accommodation that meets our needs can prove difficult. We needn't have worried. The disabled room was spacious and had a roll in shower with fold down seat. There were plenty of grab rails and emergency pull cords. The staff were helpful, especially at breakfast when the buffet was hard to reach. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. We would definitely stay again. It totally took the usual worries away and we firmly recommend it to anyone with limited mobility. 24 January 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ...a little hard to find...but...well worth the effort...! Our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express - North at Bristol was the highlight of our trip to England. My wife and I and our 3 sons found the facility to be warm...inviting...and...comfortable...and...the staff were friendly...patient...and...very accommodating. The rooms and corridors were so clean and tidy that I asked the staff if it was newly built and was surprised to learn it was about 10 years old.. The manager gave us rooms that were next to each other and printed out Google maps so that I could drive by either of 2 routes to my wife's parents home in Somerset. In addition...the breakfast was great...and...for once...I did not have to worry about someone stealing my rental car. 06 January 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Filton (Bristol North) stay Christmas 2012 Very helpful staff, lovely, comfortable and clean rooms with a choice of pillows. An added bonus was a lack of banging doors from other guests so I had an uninterrupted sleep. Ample selection of food to select from for Breakfast and all very tasty, everything from a choice of cereals and yoghurts to cooked items. I highly recommend the Fox Den pub nearby for a relaxing evening drink and great meals. 03 January 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing example of a great brand Unusually negative stay at an excellent brand hotel. Upon arrival the check-in staff, although not exactly rude, were not welcoming or friendly - something we have come to know and appreciate at Holiday Inn Express. We stayed away from the lounge that evening because of this. The shower curtain was old and stained. The tissue holder fell out of the wall every time it was used. The shower mixer was almost impossible to regulate. Bedding wasn't neatly done. The air-conditioning system couldn't heat the room. In all fairness however we must congratulate the morning crew in reception and dining area for their cheerful manner and friendly interaction. 19 December 2012

On arrival staff were helpful and arrange a taxi for us for later that evening. Room was very clean and tidy with the option of soft and hard pillows. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel Good stay at the Bristol North Hotel. Family do so booked 3 rooms for one night. Easy booking, very good staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. Only problem - no SatNav! Heck of a place to find directions strait off M5 onto A38 Filton Avenue bear left? Arrived at Station Road but wrong road! Asked taxi driver directions which he found difficult but 'head for Sainsburys' which we did. Having visited Sainsburys car park 3 times saw the hotel across the roundabout. At last - but how to actually get into the hotel car park? 3 times round the roundabout we made it!! Well worth the effort but you do need a SatNav the maps don't do justice to the new road layouts. Very good pub in the hotel car park area for evening meals. 07 December 2012
