Great staff friendly and helpful with questions. Nice big rooms. Great location with easy access to the subway. Shopping within a couple of blocks.

Boston area is very expensive. This Cambridge Holiday inn Express was a bit less than Boston proper but still pricey. It is on a busy hwy. but don't let the neighborhood scare you. It is minutes on foot to the Cambridge Galleria. It is near the T and Boston Logan minutes away by cab. The hotel is worn, lobby is small and rather dirty. Staff is rude and less than warm and friendly. They do not even smile at you (really??) . I have experienced at Holiday Inn's across the country being a Platinum Member this was the worst place ever! If you need assistance with questions they are not willing to help. So know your way around and what you need on your own. When I called prior to our visit I received the same lack of friendly warm service as I did when I was there. The perception I had at the desk was like I was bothering them. Never once was I greeted with "How may I help you?". Ask for a room on the West side as the why noise is unbearable. I have to recommend this property ONLY because of best price for Holiday Inn Express and location access to T. If you are looking for a place to sleep and good access to areas in Boston and Cambridge this may be ok for you. If Holiday Inn needs to be your brand then this is an ok place but otherwise not. Doesn't hold up to what I expect in Holiday Inn as a brand because of lack of customer service like I have never experienced before. You can look the other way on many things but never customer service!

I am very disappointed in the Cambridge Holiday Inn Express Hotel. I will never stay there again. The hotel is dated and rooms need to be renovated. I couldn't wait to leave.

I was not familiar with Boston and the location of this hotel and a little disappointed when we arrived. We wanted to walk to all the tourist sites and it was a lot farther and more difficult than we had expected.
