Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Definitely coming back! The staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. The hotel lobby was clean and tidy and our room (King) was perfect. We loved the pillows and the two pictures of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. How fitting for our first visit to Washington D.C. Breakfast was great each morning and we were within walking distance (half a mile to the Metro station) - although the shuttle drove us a few times. Kudos to Theresa in the kitchen who gave us great information on getting around on the Metro and what sights to see. She was spot on. We would have hired her to be our private tour guide if she was allowed to take off! We had such a great time, we booked another mini vacation at the end of June and plan to bring our teenage boys back with us. May 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good basic Hotel, Reasonable Price for Area Basic Hotel. Good price for DC area and only a 10 minute walk from the Metro station. Limousine will pick you up from station if you call. Approximately 25 minute metro ride to DC. Not many dining areas w/in walking distance of hotel (Subway counter in gas station was only thing available.) Good place to stay while touring the Capitol. We didn't have time to try out the fitness room--too tired by the time we got home each evening. May 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for the money For a reasonable amount could stay at this hotel, which is only 15 Km from major touristic area in Washington DC. Hotel is clean, and offer comfortable rooms. Personnel is polite and friendly, and make efforts to make your stay enjoyable. I would stay again when I would come in the area, and recommend this hotel. May 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Complimentary Breakfast I WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING CLOSE TO WHAT I HAVE HAD AT OTHER HOTELS. THE SPREAD AT OTHER HOTELS IS EXCELLENT. FOR VARIETY AND BETTER PRESENTATION. THE PAN CAKES WERE WHITE (UGH) THE SAUSAGES WERE WHITE (UGH) NO VARIETY THEY HAVE BEEN ADVERTISING BUNS...THEY DID NOT HAVE THEM. BY THE WAY, THE COFFEE MAKER IN THE ROOMS NEED BETTER INSTRUCTIONS. I WAS NOT ABLE TO MAKE COFFEE IN MY ROOM. May 20, 2015

The only thing that was disappointing we were there for 2 days and no cinnamon buns. My granddaughter loves cinnamon buns and I told her they would have them. I have stayed numerous times and Holiday Inn Express and they always had cinnamon buns. Other than that it was a very good experience. May 19, 2015

The only thing that wasn't good was no Cinnamon Buns for breakfast. I have stayed numerous times at Holiday Inn Express Hotels and they always had the Cinnamon Buns. We were really disappointed because my granddaughter loves cinnamon buns and I told her they would have them. May 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Staff!! Definitely make this place your stop for the night if visiting the Washington, DC area! The staff is helpful and spot on with their service. There is a free shuttle to the Metro Train station, which is literally 5 minutes from the hotel. The staff was ready every time to shuttle my family where we needed to be. May 13, 2015
