Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Exemplary Holiday Inn Express This hotel could be used for training how a Holiday Inn Express should be run. The check in was excellent with good humoured staff, the breakfast choice was far better than the UK experience, the room was comfortable and quiet despite being in a noisy part of Cape Town and the car park attendants were quick to bring your car. As an added bonus, the on site parking meant we were able to drop the car right outside the door regardless of what time it was. Every member of staff we came across was welcoming and friendly. The location could not be better with all major sights in walking distance. Would not hesitate to stay here again next time we visit Cape Town 24 February 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express Cape Town/Compared with other experience. I have used many hotels worldwide including Holiday Inns in my working life; and this one is a good average. The only disappointment for me personally was the cooked breakfast bar; where the offerings were less than what I would expect; i.e. no fresh fried or boiled eggs, the bacon and sausages also not fresh and somewhat "limp"! My best experience of Holiday Inn breakfast was at Heathrow Airport; memorable; with even lamb's kidneys and freshly cooked mushrooms etc. at the Breakfast bar. However; overall, I would not overdo the criticism of the cooked food, as the overall experience was highly satisfactory, and my wife and I had a good holiday in your hotel; and in the beautiful city of Cape Town. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great experience! I had an amazing experience staying here. It was a very well run and the staff we very nice and accommodating. The internet was very fast. Probably the best I had the whole time I was traveling through Africa. The only problem I had during my stay was out of their control. They were having rolling blackouts in the city due to issues with Eskom (the power company). The power went out for 2 hours at a time each day. It was only a minor inconvenience but an inconvenience just the same. I would stay there again for sure! 12 February 2015
