Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Greta Service Great hotel and brilliant locataion. Finding your way to car park is a little confusing but once you know, its relatively easy. Comfortable room and i was lucky to get a room on top floor with great view of table mountain. location in brilliant and all shops are on doorstep and Waterkaant and Waterfront a short drive away i did however, miss my gluten and lactose free breakfast. else had a fabulous stay. 23 February 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and mostly updated The hotel is located in a great location with an abundance of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way for me. The lobby, bar, and restaurant are up to date and the bar has an average selection of drinks. The higher rooms even have partial views of Lion's Head, Table Mountain, and the Ocean. Unfortunately, that's about all it has going for it. There is no pool or exercise facility (and none within walking distance open after business hours) and the restaurant serves only breakfast. Even the largest rooms are very small. The beds are comfortable, but there are no outlets around them to recharge devices (but some available on the desk). Some of the finishing have been improved, but the televisions are the size of a laptop monitor and get about 5 channels. Rooms do not have a refrigerator or iron and laundry prices are standard US/European prices. 12 February 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent accommodation, right in the heart of Cape Town My daughter and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and found all members of staff to be very helpful, friendly and efficient. The desk staff were able to advise use about tours,where to eat, organising taxis and hire cars and answer any other questions we had about getting around Cape Town safely. The staff in the breakfast area were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. The staff who cleaned our room were efficient and fulfilled our requests regarding supplies for the room. The staff downstairs on the front door were always friendly and helpful. We had the holiday of a lifetime in your wonderful city and staying at the Holiday Inn just made it even better! Thank you. When we come back again we will definitely be staying at your hotel. 28 January 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Best Holiday Inn Express in the World? This is the second time I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Cape Town. I personally think this is one of the best Holiday Inn Expresses I have ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are so clean and well maintained and the breakfast is awesome. Location can a be a little tricky (would not want to drive to the hotel), but that is its only downside. I just wish all IHG hotels could have employees of the standard at this one. 12 January 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business and Pleasure Stayed from 06-10 December for a conference and some quality time with my wife. Arrived a little late, but was accommodated/checked-in immediately; staff were accommodating and helpful (we were even accompanied by a staff - Marlon- upon learning we need to buy some stuff late at night outside the hotel); room size was ok, nothing fancy, but lay-out efficiently planned, clean and sleek; basic toiletries provided, toilet well cleaned, and the bed was comfortable to sleep on; curtains can shut the light totally. Breakfast was ok in the first day, but having the same for the entire stay is less appetising to say the least. But I would still opt for this hotel next time, just have to plan my daily breakfast... 02 January 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful and accomodating staff Requested early check in - was in the room at 9am!!! Excellent staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clean, and good value for the price. Shower is amazing. However, shower door did not close because the bolt on the top frame was missing and this caused a mini flood after we used the shower... Mattress was a little too firm for me? Parking a bit awkward - but available! Small criticism - as in all hotels, they request that you hang towels to re-use, but there are no hooks to hang them??? 01 January 2014
