Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A must stay! This was one of the best stays I have had....excellent hotel with fantastic rooms, location and breakfast. You can see the Table Mountain from the room, especially the side one. The best thing was the service. Staff go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible. Yolanda, Nomfu, Joseline, Primrose, Melissa, Esther, the dude at the Reception, cleaners and bell service staff were all first-rate. This is what you call staff with first-rate knowledge in the Hospitality Sector. You cannot go wrong with HIE Cape Town. I really wish to come back! 13 April 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 3 star hotel Room too small and bed too small for big people, not very comfortable. Breakfast is ok but scramble egg and baked beans were cold. Breakfast room were a bit too dark. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is very inconvenience and dangerous to drive into the parking space. Cannot find parking space if you come back too late at night. 11 April 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast, Internet services and room size Overall a good experience staying at this hotel. However had the following issues: 1. Internet service was capped at 100MB per day which is to little for people requiring a range of work and leisure related internet services and connectivity. 2. The rooms although nice and comfortable, lacked enough space for a working area. Difficult to place a laptop on the small tables to carry out work. Plus the TV screens are quite small with a limited range of channels. 3. Only breakfast is served on site. While not a problem, there's not a whole range of items available on the breakfast menu. 07 April 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT STAFF ALL GOOD BUT THIS HOTEL COULD DO WITH A FULL SERVICE RESTAURANT AS DINING FACILITIES AROUND THE HOTEL IS VERY LIMITED FACILITIES ON LONG STREET ONLY A FEW ! WORTH GOING THE REST ARE ALL ROUGH AND READY IT IS SHAME SUCH LONG STREET ! DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH DECENT EATERIES TO CATER FOR THE MASSIVE DEMAND THE OTHER PROBLEM OF COURSE IS THE BEGGARS ! I AM SURE GUESTS WOULD PREFER TO DINE IN THE HOTEL RATHER THAN ALL THAT BEGGARS HASSLE ! ! 04 April 2015
