Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Probably best during the week We stayed on the weekend, while wedding parties stayed at the hotel. We were woken 4 times the first night. Security which was on at 3:30 am did not deal with outside wedding aftermath noise until I complained to front desk. Staff moved our room the following day to a quieter floor. Weekdays might be a great choice for this hotel. 11 September 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SENSITIVITY TO RULES And GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS I am very disappointed in the staff not being highly sensitive to the issue of non-smoking rooms and consideration of guests requesting these rooms. You would assume a quality staff would resolve this issue immediately, not 2 days after non-smoking guest was inconvenienced. 06 September 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor experience It is my first overall non-positive experience with Holiday Inn. Although the room was clean and comfortable, the hallways, elevators not at all. Breakfast was average, internet connection was quite unstable,, shuttle service was terrible. It seems clear that the hotel staff is unable to handle properly such an amount guests. 02 September 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel I am a frequent traveler and guest of IHG hotels (Platinum Member) and have to say this is one of the most well run and best IHG hotels that I have experienced other than resort hotels. The staff is great, rooms large and clean, outdoor surroundings well maintained with plenty to do, and would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in the area. It is also very convenient to Stony Brook University (which is why we stay there about 3-4 times a year). 30 August 2014
