During our stay when we asked for recommendations for dining or information for sites in the area the front desk personnel were very knowledgable and eager to help. The room was outstanding! Very comfortable and well appointed. Would recommend this location with confidence. 27 February 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Check-In Fiasco Not-so-friendly desk receptionist had a hard time finding reservation because she kept looking up the wrong name. After giving me the key card jacket, we hauled luggage up to 2nd floor room only to find no keys in the jacket. Trudged back down to reception desk to a new, friendly receptionist who cut two new room keys. Trudged back up to room and upon opening door, discovered room was in shambles (no maid service cleaning since last occupant). Trudged down to reception desk and was issued keys to new room on the third floor. Recovered luggage on second floor and successfully opened and moved into third floor room. Discovered tools on the air conditioning unit left over from recent work and returned them to reception desk. But wait, there's more... on second day of three-day stay, room keys no longer worked. Took three re-key tries, up and down from room each time, before we were able to finally get back in room again. Absolutely no acknowledgement/recognition for Priority Club membership #first I've ever seen of this). 26 February 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average experience this time Stay at this location every couple of months when we're in town with family. This was a slightly more disappointing visit compared with others. Not recognized by the front staff as an IHG Rewards Club member but that may have been because I apparently interrupted her smoke break. Requested a room on 3 or 4th floor; was put in a first floor room. She didn't seem to want to make an effort to see if there was another room available. Will be back to this location; this one visit wasn't typical of the normally good/great experiences we have with the staff. 15 February 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Return visit We've stayed at this property a dozen times or more over the years as Chattanooga is about the half-way point for annual trips from home to Florida. It is always a nice place to stay and we were happy to return after a couple years's absence. We were pleased to see the place better than ever, and it appeared to have been redecorated since our last visit. I think first-timers might have some difficulty in finding the place in the dark, but we've been there so many times its easy and sort of like coming home. Clean, friendly and a nice breakfast. You can't ask for much more. 29 January 2014
