I stayed at this hotel waiting for a flight. The room was really clean. The bathroom floor was new and really comfortable, no slippery cold tile. The staff was great. We had a long wait for our flight; since midway doesn't hold luggage the hotel held it for us. The desk staff was great at explaining the public transportation system and we were able to visit downtown Chicago very easily. This hotel is everything you would expect a holiday in express to be, would definitely stay here again.

Front desk (Mr. Rene ??) was very kind, he explained necessary things with very kindly, because my people booked many rooms with different period. When I ask some questions, he repeated my question to double check, it makes me very comfortable. Thank you!

Good value if looking for less expensive options outside of downtown area. Still have fairly easy access to public transportation downtown. Clean, nice hotel. Helpful staff. Enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning.

Please include Parking into your hotel bill and present at check out. For receipts it is difficult to chase down afterwards.

While this hotel provides appropriate services and quality that one would expect from a Holiday Inn Express, like all other hotels in Chicago, it opportunistically price gouged its room rate up to 175% of the posted rate. Hence what could have been a normal and pleasant stay became frustrating in having to pay hundreds of dollars more just to do my job without any value add or benefit.

Did not know in advance that parking was at a fee. Taxes and parking cost over $40 per day. The state and city are in terrible financial straights and place the burden on visitors rather than cutback on the benifits of state and union workers. There is a limit to a good thing. Would visit the Windy City much more often. It's a great place to visit.
